Dr Green Lawn Care Services

We have been basically pleased with the services provided.
The one area that continues to be somewhat of a concern is the weed eradication. I spent a lot of time killing weeds, myself. I realize that you have specific days in which you treat the 'individual' weeds, but we always seem to have some broad leaf weeds throughout the entire growing season.
I also wonder if you could introduce a corn gluten treatment in late March/early April to limit the propogation of crabgrass?
Also, despite paying extra for the nematodes grub treatment, we had animals digging, especially in the back yard. Is there a springtime treatment that needs to be applied so that summer digging (for grub) does not occur?

Overall, the services is good, lawn is greener, weeds are less than before. but in some spots, the grass is still not thick enough. And after the service, can you please, hang the paper report to my door knob instead of putting it on the ground in front of my door, because when it rains and wind blows, it will be gone, I once found the report in my neighbor's lawn, and it's all wet already which I can't read anymore. although it's not a huge deal, but please hang it to the door knob.

We have had a great experience over the past few years with Dr. Green's services as they have always been on time, have been clean and neat on our property and the grass has never looked better!

I have been with Dr. Green for quite some time now. I find they are very good about making good on all their visits. I just wish they would spend a little more time on my property as I don't think all their applications find their way to all parts of my lawn. We still have weeds and bare spots in our lawn even though I avail myself of all the extra reseeding, etc. Even the people who come to do the work have commented the last two visits that there are bare spots and that I should have the reseeding done. As I have already had that done this spring/summer at a fairly high price, if they think it should be done again, then it should be free.

I decided to go with a different service provider this year as I was frustrated with the additional charges imposed by Dr. Green, some of which were unnecessary such as the grub insecticide. Unfortunately, I learned this from another lawn care company. Dr. Green took it upon themselves to apply fertilizer (if they in fact did apply fertilizer) this year when not requested by me and send me a bill. I did not send any approval for renewal. Obviously, an unethical act on their part.

I'm a satisfied Dr Green client for four years now. The best thing that I like about your service is the level of flexibility you allow your customers. For example, your email reminders tell me when the next service will be performed, so if my lawn is not ready, I simply give you a call and you reschedule it to a convenient day. I remember one year when I had to constantly postpone the aeration service to the point when it was already too late in the season so it was not possible to do it anymore, and you guys agreed to reduce my invoice for the following year to reflect this. That's great customer service, and as a result, I just stick with Dr Green year after year. Thanks!

Dr. Green: We renewed your service when we bought this house in April 2011. Your service personnel have carried out all requested services in a timely and professional manner. Thank you and to your service crews keep up the good work. We will continue to renew our contract and expand the service requirements if necessary, as long as your service level remains at the same level.

I am happy to say thank you your support to make my grass come alive again. The product you are using is great and it shows. We had a lot of snow this late fall, yet, when the snow is gone and the grass appears, I can't believe it is still green, wonder if you guys are painting my grass.

As Long as we live in this house and we can afford it (because we are Seniors) we will stay with you. Just for your information, we had used other companies before, but so far I can only say you folks are the best.

We would appreciate more detailed communication after each visit that may include service applied, lawn status and necessary recommendations. Pre-printed comment cards of different types of lawn conditions and necessary action may help if included with the visitation plastic bag usually left at the door.

I’ve been happy with the service and my next door neighbor started with Dr. Green because my lawn looked so much better than his. It would be nice to have a several days warning before the monthly service rather than just one day to insure the lawn is ready for the service call.
