Was promised 18" of blown insulation...less than half that was installed.

Was promised 4 vents...only 2 installed.

Was promised 30 baffles...only 13 installed.

Eavestrough filled to the top with garbage left from installation.

Shingles bent into eavestrough instead of clean cut.

Gaps between chimney and roof that weren't there before.

Used old, existing materials around plumbing stacks.

Poor customer service giving lame excuses..."manager is in a meeting", "truck broke down on the way there"

We called D'Angelo for a quote as our shingles were curling and we knew we wouldnt make it through a winter/spring. Ian came out to quote on the shingles and new skylights (nice guy, not the best with appointments). The price was exactly what we figured so we went ahead to schedule the job for the following two weeks. Due to heat, the roof job was delayed a few days but then the crew was onsite one morning and it was done - old ripped off, new skylight, shingles, cleaned up - in 5 hours. At first, I was skeptical as to the quick job as it felt rushed but I guess time, and rain, will tell if any corners were cut. When they left, we noticed that the interior of the ceiling where the skylight was replaced was left in bad shape and also, that the old flashing was pulled up and left on the roof line which looked horrible. We had to call the office to find out that the interior area around the skylight wasnt in their scope of work, and also, that someone would be out in a few days to finish the flashing work. I wish we were told about both items ahead of time, instead of having to track them down for answers. We then were contacted by about 4 different people about paying the balance. We dont have cheques so were trying to get a money order in place (which we had about a week later) but we definitely felt pressure to pay up, which I didnt particularly like. Overall, good job...for now.

Roofing went okay clean up and customer service was terrible!!!!
Siding job was a complete disaster!!!! Nothing was done right and it took 2 weeks to do the work and another 2 weeks to try and fix it.
When D'Angelos decided they had enough of trying to fix all their mistake that I kept pointing out ( loose siding unfinished trim ) they threatened my family with court if we did not pay!!!!!
We did settle out of court and I had money taken off the bill to pay someone else to finish the job.....When the owner came down to collect his cheque, I asked if he would like to see some of the terrible work that his company had done......I showed him quite a few thing that were sub standard at best...he agreed. but I never felt like he cared that his company did such a poor job.......instead he made up excuses....and said the money off should more than cover the repairs so I should not worry.....All I wanted was a good job.....I personally feel this company can not do good work...and everyone should stay away!!! Thank-you for your professionalism; your team was prompt and on time. The crew cleaned up every nail and shingle debris and they worked super hard despite the extreme heat. My e-mails were always responded to in the same day and I was really pleased with everything. Thank-you for such a great job. Had a quote prepared by seven different roofing companies in and near Guelph Ontario to replace our old shingles with 50 year architectural shingles. D'Angelo gave the most comprehensive and professional looking quotation with 15 years installation guarantee and the GAF 50 year limited shingle guarantee. Their quotation included options for extending downspouts into eavestroughs with matching materials and having ridge venting on the main roof instead of mushroom cap type vents. Their quote was competitive and we selected their services. The installation crew was scheduled about 1 1/2 weeks later and they installed the watershield, deck armor, shingles and ridge venting on the main roof with mushroom cap venting on the back roof which was independent of the main roof. Their friendly crew worked efficiently and quickly and had the approx. 2400 square feet of roofing done in just over a day and half. They also added the downspout extensions the following day. I highly recommend their services.

Our whole experience with D'Angelo's was a pleasant one, starting with Ian who gave the quote to the crew that did the excellent job. We were particularly impressed with the clean up after the work was completed. We also liked the fact that the dumpster had rubber tyres and didn't leave any marks on our driveway. We wouLd highly recommend this company to anybody...Thanks for a job well done.

Great service from this company. They quickly responded to our request for a quote. Jeremy was very helpful in educating us on our choices. The company even provided satellite imagery of our roof, which has a lot of peaks and valleys to provide accurate measurements for our quote. The crew were courteous, kept the property very clean and were finished the project in a day. Highly recommend. They provide warranty for 15 years and the shingles we chose were 50 yr. shingles.

Removed and installed new shingles. Replaced some plywood sheathing. New gutters. New gutter guards.

In a nutshell- I don't think that they expected me to get up on the roof, or up into the attic, to check their work. One year later.... The shingle part of the installation is probably the same as anybody else. The gutters leaked at two corner locations. The gutter guards weren't installed properly- were cut to made to fit, and used a lot of end pieces, and installed three difference ways on the three different eavesthroughs. The sheathing replacement is fine but wood scraps and garbage, along with the old roof vents, were left in my attic. Roof nails from the removal of my previous shingles littered the dripline of my house.

I had to call repeatedly to have someone come to take a look at- per the warranty. But a fella did finally show up....when I wasn't home, and never got back to me. I had to call again to find out what was going on and was told that he found no issues. We agreed to have another fella come out when I was home. He agreed that there were some issues- did fix the gutter leaks, did take out the gutter guard ends and put in proper [regular] 8ft lengths.

Would I recommend? No. Are they the best? No. Are they better than most? Probably. Is their warranty great? No, but they do have one so that's better than most. Was the 'fix' up to my standards? No, but it was better than nothing. Is dealing with them easy? Yes, until they find out you're calling about the warranty.
