I had Brent do an inspection yesterday on a home I'm purchasing in Whitby. From initial contact he was friendly, accommodating to my schedule, and professional. He was very thorough, informative and willing to answer any questions I had (even when I asked the same one in different ways!) I'm so pleased and relieved to have plenty of valueable info. and tips about the house. A million thanks Brent, and I won't hesitate to refer you to everyone I know!

I usually don't write reviews because I don't usually meet people who are worth effort. But I was very surprised by the level of customer service that I received. He's friendly, knowledgeable and very efficient. Brent was able to find an old heater that was buried near the house which would have cost me thousands of dollars to remove if I had purchased the house and found it after the fact and he was able to find leaks in the roof that would have been detrimental to the life of the house if they weren't addressed immediately. Overall I saved $10000 after this home inspection; that's definitely worth my review! Good job to the guys at Classic Home Inspections, keep up the great work! I would definitely recommend these guys!

Brent came by and did a home inspection for us yesterday. He was prompt, personable and thorough. It was great to have someone objective come in and tell you the truth about your future home no matter how in love with it you are!

Brent was great from the get go. Very flexible with his schedule that adapted to ours. After much research and subsequent consultation with our realtor we decided to hire Brent of Classic Home Inspections to inspect a 120+ year old Victorian home we were thinking of purchasing. As a young family looking to purchase our first home we were worried about everything that could be wrong with a house of this nature. Brent came in and gave us an incredibly honest and diligent inspection. He went over every inch of the home, explained in detail all of the issues, and why they could potentially be huge hazards to our family. He took lots of photographs and gave us only the most honest answers to our questions. After Brent's inspection of the home we decided it would be best not to put in an offer, as the multitude of serious issues had grown to be too much for us. Although we haven't purchased the home, or put in an offer, I am incredibly thankful for the inspection, not only did Brent save us from making a huge mistake with one of the biggest investments of our lives, but I learned so much about what to look for at our next home viewing. Let me tell you, I will be spending a lot more time in the basement and much less time marveling at the crown molding. We will 100% be calling Brent back again next time we are interested in a home, and hopefully next time will be "the one". Thank you Brent!

Brent is honest, which I think is the highest praise that you can give someone in the home-buying business.
He was very straightforward with me about what the house I was looking at needed in terms of repairs, allowing me to make an informed decision about whether to buy or not. He did not make the decision for me, but rather laid out all of the needed fixes that would be required over the short, medium, and long-term. He then left the actual decision-making to me.

Brent showed up right on time and proceeded with a very meticulous and thorough site inspection of the exterior and interior of the house that my partner and I were interested in purchasing. For a large portion of the the inspection, we were his shadows and he described to us his findings and his concerns.

I contacted Classic Home Inspections because of their popularity and wonderful reviews. I asked for Brent, seeing as how all of the reviews were about him, but he was unavailable. However he told me about his partner Elie who had just joined his team and was getting his feet wet in the industry. I was apprehensive since I wanted someone experienced, but Brent recommended him highly. I met with Elie and he was very social and friendly. He began by surveying my property from a distance, then getting up close to the foundations, and finally went inside to conduct the rest of the inspection. He managed to find leaks, structural damage, and insulation issues. After his report was finished, he managed to save me at least $5000! I would definitely recommend Elie at Classic Home Inspections. My husband I were finally ready to take a step forward together and purchase our first home. We placed an offer on a house and when it was accepted we searched for a home inspector that was highly recommended. Still not sure what to expect, we met with Brent to get the ball rolling. Brent was nice, presentable and very well informed. He surveyed the outside of the house, making sue to inspect every side as well as the roof. Once he was finished he made his way inside and inspected the electrical, plumbing, heating and the interior, making sure to take notes on his findings. He was very thorough and efficient, and his report at the end was well worth the wait. It was detailed and very easy to follow.
