Amazing Company and would totally recommend.
Let me explain why.
We had a hole somewhere in our flat roof that had been leaking water for years, that eventually worked its way down through the bedroom into our living room.
We asked so many different companies for quotes. Many never called back or did not show up when appointments made. Those that showed had a google map picture, stayed for 5 minutes and quoted us ridiculous quotes from anywhere between $30,000 - to $55,000, all wanting to band aid the problem by placing another roof over the old and requesting a huge deposit up front !
Dave, from Cherry & Hoyle was the only company that showed up on time with samples, he went up on our roof twice and walked around the property spending 40 minutes with us. He put a quote together, with addresses for us to go and see their work (which we did and spoke with the owners who all had positive things to say about the company). They were also the only company that were going to remove the old roof see where the damage was and fix and replace any rotted boards, insulate and add venting, slightly having the new roof on an angle for water to run off as well as adding eaves troughs and down spouts even placing them into our own water barrels. The company also redid all of our siding and metal work around the windows. Please note we received all of this for a fraction of what other companies were quoting for a band aid fix.
The workmen were amazing, they were kind, courteous and worked incredibly hard. They cleaned up after themselves as well as management coming round to check on their work and checkin with us.
Please do your homework when looking for a roofing company. Our experience showed us that there is too many awful rip off companies out their wanting you to just hand over thousands of your hard earned money for absolute garbage.
Our experience with Dave and his family with Cherry & Hoyle has been amazing and we would recommend this company. You will be pleasantly surprised at their kindness and honesty along with professionalism and a product that is worth the cost.
