Never fun to turn on your A/C for the first time this year to find that it isn't cooling the house. After doing some checks myself (changing air filter, batteries on thermostat, cleaning outside coil), I suspected that the refrigerant was low. So, after doing some research on companies on Home Stars, I gave these guys a call.
I was able to get an appointment for two days later. The service technician Mario came right on time and confirmed that my system was low on refrigerant. He was upfront about potential costs depending on where the leak was found. Fortunately, the leak was at the service valves...so they were tightened and the refrigerant was topped up. Mario explained how these valves could leak and the system can be monitored for the time being to see if that solves the problem (the A/C unit is only six years old). No sales pressure to buy a new unit or anything like that.
We will use these guys again for any future A/C needs. Thanks guys!
