We had a cross border move with a ton of fragile items and artwork. Steven and his crew worked efficiently and with great care for all our treasured items. They were friendly and professional. They had everything under control with the border crossing and thus we encountered no problems there. We truly would recommend them and will use them again ourselves.

Most efficient and effective movers that I have ever hired. Very impressed. They showed up on time, very courteous, professional. For the first time in history a move was finished before its estimated end time.

We can’t say enough about Steve and Avery’s Moving Company. Steve’s focus was on my Mother and her difficult move out of our childhood home. They never lost sight of her concerns and issues. No matter what “hiccup” occurred along the way, they were resourceful, accommodating and flexible. The packer and movers were courteous, efficient and careful. I will definitely be recommending them to everyone I know!

I've now done 2 moves with Avery Moving, each with different crews, both moves were excellent, easy and very professional. The first move was from my home in Toronto and all of my belongings were moved into Avery's storage facility for what we expected to be a couple months while we searched for a new home. Over 2 years later we finally moved out of Avery's storage space to our new home town. Nothing was damaged, everything came back wrapped as it was the day it left our last home and along the way Steve (owner) did everything he could to take care of us. Even when I paid late for storage a few times because of my work schedule, Steve was nice, reasonable and understanding. He even gave me a great rate on my last move for the continued service. I've used other movers over the years and would put Avery up there with the best of the best. Thanks for all your great work.

After asking around and hearing some moving company horror stories, we got a recommendation to use Avery from our real estate agent and were glad we did. Our movers came on time with the 4 movers promised and worked hard. They were very helpful and extremely polite. They finished earlier than expected and were willing to reassemble several items which also happened quickly. We had visits from three other moving company estimators before Avery and it was plain that even the advice about packing that the Avery estimator gave us was superior. He helped us avoid common pitfalls that just end up costing you more time and money. Of the four estimates, Avery was the lowest, had the best score on HomeStars, and the actual cost came in under estimate at the end of the day.

We had an awesome experience working with Avery Moving & Storage for our latest move. Steve's team was on time, provided competitive pricing and delivered with care. The experience started with the friendly reminder call from Steve, confirming our date/time and double-checking that our elevator was booked. A day before the move I had to change our time last minute, and Steve made the change without question. On the day of the move, Steve and his team took care to wrap every piece of furniture in blankets. Steve noticed an issue with one of our dining room table legs when he was taking it apart and proactively advised on a fix. His team worked fast and boy they are strong! They had some tight corners and doors to get our furniture through but did it without issue and I always felt comfortable when they were maneuvering items out of our house. They stored our contents over night without any hassle and for a nominal fee. On move in day, Steve’s team had already arranged the parking of their truck with the loft building manager by the time we arrived, and we were greeted with smiles from his enthusiastic team. They worked quickly moving things in and set up our bed and dining room table. We’ve moved a lot and I can say with confidence that Steve and his team are top notch. They care about their work and take the stress out of moving! I highly recommend Avery Moving & Storage!!

We had an excellent experience with Avery Moving & Storage. I was a little bit concerned at first. After booking our move I was told I would get a confirmation call a week before the move. The call never came and we had that 'here we go...' feeling. However, I phoned and confirmed the move and all was well. The movers showed up on time (one mover showed up early and gave us a hand with some last minute packing - what a nice guy). They were efficient, friendly, eager to please, respectful and thoughtful. They treated our stuff well, moved even our largest items with absolutely no problem, and they were FAST. They had to move our entire house as well as emptying a storage locker and bringing its contents to our new home. We had absolutely no complaints. We ran into one issue which was that, after disassembling our daughter's IKEA bed, they put the hardware for it in a cup and we were unable to find it. Our move was on the Saturday of Labour Day weekend so when we tried to put her bed together on Sunday night we realized we couldn't. I attempted to call Steve, the owner, on Monday but the phone was off and voicemail was full. I sent an email about it and did not get a reply...until Thursday of that week when he showed up in person with the hardware (it had accidentally been put into a tool box, I believe). An inconvenience, yes, but I was extremely impressed when the owner showed up in person to deliver the item. And that incident certainly did not detract from the exceptional customer service we received from this company throughout the move...just feel like I should share all the details to give a full review! We don't plan on moving again for a long, long, long, loooong time, but we will highly recommend Avery Moving to friends and family when they move.

This is my 4th house and Avery provided the best moving experience I have ever had. They were on time. Frank, Brad and John were professional and treated my belongings with respect. It was a great experience. Prices were excellent. I would recommend them to anyone. The only minor point I want to make is that I was not told they didn't take plastic. It is cash or cheque.

Thanks to Frank (driver) and his crew on the great and efficient move. They moved our 4 bedroom house with three guys and one truck within 7 hours and that included some furniture disassembly and assembly. Nothing was broken or scratched.
Very happy with Avery customer service as well. They provided a good set of instructions of how to pack and prepare. Would definitively recommend them.

Would use this moving company again any time. Steve was very upfront regarding pricing and timing. The guys showed up on time at 10:00 am and started loading the truck right away. They were friendly and very accomodating. They handled the contents of the apartment carefully and nothing was broken. It ended up being a stress-free move and they were finished by 5:00pm. Again, thanks for a great move!!!
