When the city replaced the lead pipes on our street to the property line we found out that we had lead going into our house as well and had to replace them. Along with our next door neighbours we got several quotes. Mister Plumber was the most reasonable in price and was available to begin almost immediately. Their work was extremely fast and they were polite. Some of the other companies told us they would have to extend the demolition on our driveway that the city had started. Mister Plumber didn't do any additional demolition so there is no additional mess. This is a huge bonus for us. We would work with them again.

We have had Kelly from Dirtless Dave's in to clean our home on a bi-weekly basis for a few months now. She is wonderful! We asked her to just make the house "look good" for the majority of her visits and she always does just that - and then some! The house always looks and smells wonderful after Kelly has been there. But the best part is her flexibility. I was starting to get grossed out by the our kitchen so I asked her recently to focus her attention on really thoroughly cleaning the kitchen and to ignore the rest of the house. Well she went above and beyond! The kitchen was INCREDIBLE. She gave it a real, thorough deep clean. But of course she didn't ignore the rest of the house. She went through it and gave it a once over too. We have a budget for four hours of cleaning every second week but Kelly is so good and efficient that it always looks like someone had been working on our place for at least a full day. We are so happy with Kelly and so grateful for how attentive she is to our needs and requests!

Our Leon's experience started out well. Great customer service when we went in and made our purchase at the Newmarket location. After that, however, it went downhill so fast. I could write a novel about how Leon's screwed us over, damaged our property, ignored our concerns, treated us rudely, blamed us for their mistakes, and provided us with a couch that was so cheaply put together that it broke the very first time someone sat on it. Our Leon's experience began with our initial purchase in early August 2013. It is now mid-November 2013 and we still aren't through with this nightmare of an experience...we still have to get reimbursed for the $1,000+ property damage they inflicted on us when attempting to deliver their garbage product. NEVER AGAIN. And I encourage Canada to stop shopping at this terrible company that makes itself out to be a family business and great Canadian success story, but behaves like a heartless corporation that swindles its customers.

We had an excellent experience with Avery Moving & Storage. I was a little bit concerned at first. After booking our move I was told I would get a confirmation call a week before the move. The call never came and we had that 'here we go...' feeling. However, I phoned and confirmed the move and all was well. The movers showed up on time (one mover showed up early and gave us a hand with some last minute packing - what a nice guy). They were efficient, friendly, eager to please, respectful and thoughtful. They treated our stuff well, moved even our largest items with absolutely no problem, and they were FAST. They had to move our entire house as well as emptying a storage locker and bringing its contents to our new home. We had absolutely no complaints. We ran into one issue which was that, after disassembling our daughter's IKEA bed, they put the hardware for it in a cup and we were unable to find it. Our move was on the Saturday of Labour Day weekend so when we tried to put her bed together on Sunday night we realized we couldn't. I attempted to call Steve, the owner, on Monday but the phone was off and voicemail was full. I sent an email about it and did not get a reply...until Thursday of that week when he showed up in person with the hardware (it had accidentally been put into a tool box, I believe). An inconvenience, yes, but I was extremely impressed when the owner showed up in person to deliver the item. And that incident certainly did not detract from the exceptional customer service we received from this company throughout the move...just feel like I should share all the details to give a full review! We don't plan on moving again for a long, long, long, loooong time, but we will highly recommend Avery Moving to friends and family when they move.
