The Atlas technician identified that my air conditioner was fine but that there was an electrical problem right away, but then went on to diagnose the nature of the electrical problem. I talked to customer service and a technician prior to the service call and no one mentioned that I would be charged any amount other than the $129 fee for the service call. The technician charged me for labour related to the diagnosis and identified that I will need to engage an electrician to fix the problem. However, when I complained to Atlas they refunded the labour charge as I should have been asked whether I wanted to pay for the technician's labour to diagnose the electrical problem before he proceeded. The technician was friendly and knowledgeable and thorough in his work.
