Bathroom renovation and window replacement

Arrow Renovations recently renovated our large bathroom and replaced a large window in our dining room. We cannot recommend them enough. Chris was great to deal with on the business side of the project and we feel the quote was fair and he outlined the costs very clearly. Both Chris and his brother James were courteous, reliable and kept everything tidy as they did the job. When an unexpected issue arose, they calmly problem-solved and kept us in the loop outlining options. The bathroom looks amazing and they did a great job, great attention to detail. We will definitely consider James and Chris for our next project and would highly recommend them.

Deferred Maintenance and Renovation on Residence

I am very satisfied with the work Arrow Renovations did for me. Chris and James are very professional, the work was well done, and, when a problem arose, they corrected it willingly and without argument. Chris stands by his estimates; extra charges are for what really is extra work. Both men are courteous and punctual; they do NOT disappear for days and weeks at a time as do so many renovators.
Chris has a good network of sub-contractors (electrician, plumber, floor finisher, roofer, painters) who come when he needs him and share his professionalism and courtesy. When he had to sub-contract a cabinet-maker with whom he had not worked before, and the man turned out to do excellent work but proved a difficult person, Chris stood up for me with him.
I lived in the house for all but three weeks of the work and I especially appreciated the care that Arrow took to protect furniture from dust and debris, to clean up every day, and, once the furnace vents had been cleaned, to ensure dust did not get into the venting system. I also especially appreciated the fact that James, who did much of the work, was a most courteous, soft-spoken and unobtrusive presence in the house; he made it endurable to live with someone working here for close to three months. Chris and James avoid all the behaviours that make one want to strangle contractors: they do NOT set their cell-phones to god-awful tunes, let them ring endlessly, and conduct long conversations on them in one's home; they do NOT smoke near the house; they do NOT play their radios in the house.
In short, I wish I had discovered these two brothers years ago. To give you an idea of the work they did:
In the basement they partially dry-walled the laundry room, built a 20+ foot bookcase, replaced flooring, and partially renovated a small bath; on the main floor they refinished the floors and partially enclosed a staircase; upstairs they took down two walls and built one, built in a closet, installed doors, built in a skylight and four transoms over doors, and contracts for 21 feet of closets and drawers. They painted all three floors of the house. They also did outside repairs to window frames and brick and painted. This was all fine work.

Complete Basement renovation

Chris, James and their crew came recommended by a friend and they did an amazing job for us. They were very conscientious and very professional. They were on time with every aspect of the job and kept our home clean of work debris. They have also maintained attention to us after the job to do small touch ups. We would recommend them to our friends and would happily hire them again for our next reno project.

Main Floor Kitchen Reno - total basement gut and apartment built

I have used Arrow twice now for significant work on my house. I are about quality and I was not let down. They listen well to their clients and manage expectations rather well. They understand what it takes to deliver and they bring in the right trades at the right time. You may pay a bit more than average but you will get extemely good results because it's a team of specialists (electricians, plumbers, masons, etc.). They are all connected and work well together. They have always delivered on time which is a very rare thing in this business. Hats off to Chris, James, Bill and Garfield. You guys are amazing at what you do! Thanks Arrow.

complete gut + underpinning

Chris, James and their guys are very easy to work with. We bought a house that needed a LOT of work. We opened up the first floor, changed the entire plumbing and electrical. did the bathroom, underpinned the house to create a basement appartment, change a few windows. We of course encountered problems along the way since it is an old house but chris maneged everything while keeping us in the loop all the time. They were open to new ideas and pulled them off! The finish is very nice and better than we had envisionned.

Great to work with, reliable, professional.

Home renovations

Arrow did our kitchen renovation and was the subcontractor for our house being rewired from knob and tube to code. Chris is a wonderful guy, explaining everything in understandable terms and whose work is top notch in all regards. His crew were also excellent, polite, speedy, thorough, and cleaned as they worked! I would hire them again without hesistation.
