We have recently had our front door and side lights replaced by Albern Windows and we're totally thrilled with the results! It has made such a big difference in our entrance way and the natural lighting is wonderful. It was done quickly and efficiently which is greatly appreciated when having work done. It has given our house a facelift which has increased the investment of our home. I like that Albern is a family business that is professionally run. I recently had 2 patio doors put in, all my windows replaced and a brand new window made in my stairwell done by Albern. They were amazing! I cant believe the difference that changing your windows and doors can make. Our house is quieter, we were able to cool it down this past summer more efficiently and they look beautiful. The family was extremely pleasant to work with and the installers did a fantastic job. They left the place spotless after they were finished which was in no time at all. I would highly recommend Albern Windows and Doors to all my friends and family looking for quality product and friendly service.

Really poor management, poor labor relations, terrible customer service and way over priced (another company was half the cost and in less than 3 days measurements were taken and the order processed - Albern didn't even take measurements in over 6 weeks, but they took my money.....)

Stay away from this company and you will save yourself a lot of headaches.

A very close friend referred me as I needed 2 windows repaired as a condition of sale for my house. The price quoted I thought was a little high, but I needed it done so I put half down and Jeff assured me that it would be completed on time.
Two weeks later, Jeff called to follow up to confirm the measurements were taken - which they were not. He told me it was a little concerned and he would follow up.
Two weeks later my wife called the office to follow up and was told by the owner Lori that she will call her back.
Two days later my wife called the salesman Jeff again and was told that the installer left to go to Ecuador but it would get done.
I then called the office and Lori answered and I asked what was going on with my repair.
She told me that my wife had already spoken to Jeff. I said that's fine, but I want to know what is going on.
Three times she just repeated that my wife spoke to Jeff when I asked when my measurements were going to happen.
This isn't an answer and when I got frustrated, she hung up on me. I called back to no answer. So I went to the shop to find out what was going on and the doors were locked. I knocked loudly thinking they might have been in the back and knocked on the back door.
The next day I went to the showroom again (if you can call it that, it looks like a really bad DYI job) and demanded my money back.
I would really be surprised if the new owners - Lori & Paul don't run this company into the ground. I say this because I would be very cautious about giving them a deposit. I was lucky to have gotten mine back.

Came highly recommended, but not what we hoped for. First door delivered on time, but needed adjustment - 5 calls later was fixed. Second door took over 14 weeks to arrive, I had to keep calling to check. Patio doors installed inside out, screens opening and locking only from outside, no way to lock house, yet installers asked for full payment. We called, owner came out next day and arranged for installers to return two days later. Second trip resulted in door installed in correct direction, but not finished nicely - gap between hardwood and door leaving subfloor exposed, nails on trim not set, gaps in caulking. Company called to ask for same-day payment. Owner came out next day to address. Took three trips to complete job. Very stressful. Owner admitted error, was polite, competent and wanted to resolve issues. My biggest concern was that I had to keep calling to get my issues addressed, calls were not returned and if they were not in a timely way. Very disappointed. Doors appear good quality, but would try another company next time.

We purchased a rollaway screen for our front door. We can now leave the front door open on those nice spring and fall days to let the air flow through the house. What a difference!
