Al Miley & Associates

In the past 4 years I have unfortunately had to remove 3 dead or injured trees in my backyard. Al Miley and his crew have dealt with all three removals as well as all pruning and maintenance. Last week they removed the last two trees and, as per usual, we're punctual, professional, friendly and effective. They also cleaned up perfectly after the job. Aside from this, each time that I've gotten quotes for tree work they have been at least 25% cheaper than the next cheapest quote.
I highly recommend Al Miley and his company.

Robert Jaeger and his crew took down a large tree that was on a fence line and overhanging our roof today. The work space was a tight side yard, with narrow street access. We're really impressed - the backyard is tidier than it was when the crew started. The tree is gone, and the cleanup was immaculate. The fence is fine, and so is the roof. Thanks so much to Robert and his team for a great job!

A very large Siberian Elm at the back of my property near power lines and a 4 lane street had sustained extensive damage during an ice storm in the winter and had multiple dead and injured branches high up (>30 feet). Below sits my fence and some new fruit trees and plants. A second smaller tree near the house also had broken branches high up. Having had excellent service from Al Miley et al. in the past for smaller jobs, used their email request and promptly had a quote within days that was very reasonable. Similar to my past experiences, the number and skill of workers who showed up and managed to beautifully reshape the large tree and remove the many dead branches without causing any damage whatsoever to my fence, other trees, the wires, grass....was impressive. The cleanup was perfect as well with no mess at all left behind. The large tree is thriving now. I am impressed that the quality of work by this company has remained excellent over the years. This was the third project using them.

Very disappointed. I got a quote and was ready to go, called them several times and never got a phone call back. If you are busy be professional and say so, at least give a timeline but don't leave people hanging.

WOW – great job by Al Miley and his team. Al Miley was recommended to us by another tree service we had used in the past who were unable to do the job due to a slip and fall accident / injury on ice (unrelated to tree removal ?) in the early spring. I checked them out on HomeStars and they had great reviews. We had three large (60 ft +) diseased Ash trees removed that were located right in front of the power lines and in between the aerial cable and telephone runs for both my neighbour and myself. Happy to report the guys were so careful, not one issue. I checked with my neighbours after the job to ensure they were happy with how their rear yards were left, both said their yards were immaculate. In addition to the Ash trees in the back, we had permit approval to remove two mature Douglas Fir trees in the front that were damaged in the ice storm over the holidays. All five trees were removed in one day without incident and they left the place very clean. They came back two days later and chipped out all the stumps. We paid the extra charge to have them remove the excess mulch from the stump grinding and they again did an amazing job. I am pretty picky, their job was so good, I don’t feel the need to go out and even do any additional raking or cleanup. The entire crew was friendly, courteous and very respectful. They even offered to wait on the day of the removal while I cleared up a small clerical mix-up with the insurance certificate / waiver. I called the office, spoke with Al directly and he emailed it to me within minutes. I would use these guys again without hesitation. I have already given their name and number to a few friends / neighbours.

I contacted Al to conduct an arborist report in short order. He was able to complete a full onsite inspection and written report on time for my OMB hearing. Further, Al was willing to change his schedule to attend the hearing with very little notice. I highly recommend Al's services as he and his team are professionals and keep a high standard!

Extremely satisfied with the tree removal service from this company. I needed three dead birch trees removed from front of house and one dead poplar tree in our backyard last October 2013. Robert came by to give me an estimate within a day or so. The price was very reasonable and they were even able to come the following week and complete the work. It was raining heavily the Saturday they were due to arrive and wasn't sure they would be able to work, but they showed up on time and were focused and polite, despite having to work in such conditions. They removed and disposed of all wood and branches and even took some shrubs that we had cut the week before. I'm very pleased with this company and highly recommend them. What a fantastic company! We couldn't have chosen better. Rob arrived the very next day to give estimate which we felt was a very reasonable one to remove 2 ash trees, large & med junipers + substantial trim of cedar tree plus stump grinding. Dave & crew arrived and were just great and extremely organized. It's incredible to see what is involved in removing trees and stump grinding in one's backyard. Cedar tree now looks perfect. Backyard was left very neat and clean. I will definitely have this company do any future arborist work I may need and have already passed their name on to some neighbours. Great job - thank you.

Al Miley removed a 6ft diameter Willow Tree that fell on our shed during storm Sandy. He was the only tree removal service that treated me with respect and gave me a sense of confidence he was there to help me. His 7 man crew were courteous, efficient and took care of my property during removal. I highly recommend him.
