I called Advanced Plumbing when my toilet continued leaking after flushing. This was not an emergency as I was able to slow down and occasionally stop the leaking, but as this was the straw that broke the camel's back, decided to get all of my plumbing problems fixed now. On that Friday Aman arrived and I had the list of the five problems for him to assess and commence fixing. As the toilet and sink were original fixtures to the house (and well past their best before date) it was decided that new fixtures were the route to go. Aman and Michael fixed the items that were not being replaced and it was arranged that they would return the next week with the new sink and toilet. They returned and commenced installing both new fixtures. They look terrific and all items work great. Aman recommended that I test the shut-off taps every month or so to make sure I can turn them off in an emergency. It was a pleasure having these two pleasant gentlemen in my home and if another plumbing problem arises, I will be sure to ask for them to come and help me again.

I am ever so thankful to Adrian for the terrific job he did rebuilding my kitchen drain. It looks fantastic! Adrian is a very professional and personable man and was patient with my need to chat (due to the pandemic silence). I will definitely be calling him for my next plumbing problem (which, if I'm not mistaken, is in its early stages). I shall be pleased to recommend this Company to my friends.

I met with Patrick last week to obtain an estimate to bring my attics up to the R69+ level. He explained the procedure showing me pictures of everything that is done to obtain this level of insulation. On Wednesday two gentlemen arrived on time to complete the installations required. The men were very courteous and professional cleaning up all areas prior to departing. It was a pleasure having these two men in my home doing this work. I will definitely call EcoComfort should I decide to have further insulation done in my home. They are perfect in my opinion.

After my annual furnace inspection found many problems, I decided to accept the Special on Offer to upgrade the furnace and (my 32 year old) air conditioner. Two men who arrived on time to do the installation were fantastic. Very personable and explained everything that I would be required to know. They explained how to set the new thermostat and even programed it for me which I was VERY grateful for. The people at Mersey have always given me great service.

The hurricane winds of May 4th (119 km/hr.) lifted, damaged, and removed several shingles from my roof. I called Professional whilst the winds were in progress and Olga said she would have a crew come to do the emergency repairs the next day. They arrived first thing in the morning and completed all of the necessary repairs. Due to the amount of damage I contacted my insurance company to proceed with any further work that would be required. I can't begin to say how pleased I was with the very quick response I received from this company and the peace of mind and security I received for my roof.

Last week Advanced Roofing arrived early Monday morning to do a complete roofing replacement which had been explained to me by Victor and budgeted. It was a melting hot day! The crew were very personable and worked very hard, even through the downpours (which likely felt very cooling). They put in a long day and were able to complete the roof in one day. The job site was left very clean and the roof looks fantastic. This is the second time we have had this company and again they were terrific. I would certainly hire them again. Thanks to all.

I am so sorry to be so late getting my review done. Peter arrived promptly at 9:00 a.m. Feb. 5th as scheduled to repair the bottom oven of my double oven range. He was no time in diagnosing the problem and said he would order the part and install it as soon as it arrived. He returned with the part Feb. 8th and installation was completed. Peter is a very personable person and it was a real pleasure having him complete this repair for me. I would have Modern Appliance again in a heartbeat and I thank him so much for this work.

John arrived at the time specified. He was very cordial and professional. Proceeded to inspect and service my furnace. He advised he made a couple of adjustments which will result in the furnace running quieter (and it is, I don't even hear it now). Everything else connected with the furnace was running smoothly which made me feel very comfortable. Said he will return in the spring to check the central air, which is part of the contract. I am very pleased with the service I receive from Mersey.

Mark arrived right on time with a very cheerful smile and friendly hello and announced he and his team were here to do the downspout disconnect. They got to work and were finished in no time. He took me over to see the work and explain any info. concerning care of the downspout extension if heavy winds came up. It was a job well done and it was a pleasure dealing with Mark and this company. If I have any further work in this category, I will be sure to call Mark.

What a fantastic company! We couldn't have chosen better. Rob arrived the very next day to give estimate which we felt was a very reasonable one to remove 2 ash trees, large & med junipers + substantial trim of cedar tree plus stump grinding. Dave & crew arrived and were just great and extremely organized. It's incredible to see what is involved in removing trees and stump grinding in one's backyard. Cedar tree now looks perfect. Backyard was left very neat and clean. I will definitely have this company do any future arborist work I may need and have already passed their name on to some neighbours. Great job - thank you.

Let me start by saying that this company is very aptly named because specialists they indeed are! I called and was talking to Paul on Monday and he said he had a postponement work appointment for Tuesday so I jumped at the opportunity. Mat and Steve arrived within the specified time frame and from the moment they walked through the door any apprehension of strangers in my home disappeared. They were extremely personable and had great respect for our home. Steve explained what was involved as we walked down to the basement while Mat brought through the equipment. We had never had our ducts cleaned before so accumulated dust and debris from 1979 -- they had their work cut out for them! Steve showed me the accumulation in one of the return vents -- YIKES! We have always had non-shedding dogs but that doesn't mean no dog hair anywhere plus my husband is a smoker. Steve indicated this involved a little extra to get the ducts clean but when the job was completed the house was left with the wonderful, refreshing aroma of thyme and lemon. How great is that! (Steve tried very hard to get our dog to come out and say hello to him but as our dog is a little strange that way, he wouldn't come out of his sleeper cage). Steve provided me with some tips to help keep the ducts as clean as possible. The work was finished within the specified time frame and Steve showed me through and explained what was done downstairs and also, the builder had not properly nailed one of the ducts and their was a gap in it so they nailed it to eliminate the gap. When leaving, they wanted to put all the drawers back into a piece of furniture they had to move out and back from a return vent -- now that is above and beyond expectations! I will recommend this company to all my neighbours, family and friends - they are fantastic.

REVISED REVIEW: - 2010 Had raccoon damage on south side of lower roof plus leak into living room. They replaced all shingles and added a water shield (this is just 1/4 of the roof) and didn't come back to fix the downspout from upper level. Then in 2011 we had a leak in the upper portion of the roof so we had the remaining 3/4 of the roof done for $5,000. So you can see just how much Avenue Road Roofing overcharges you!!!
