WOW – great job by Al Miley and his team. Al Miley was recommended to us by another tree service we had used in the past who were unable to do the job due to a slip and fall accident / injury on ice (unrelated to tree removal ?) in the early spring. I checked them out on HomeStars and they had great reviews. We had three large (60 ft +) diseased Ash trees removed that were located right in front of the power lines and in between the aerial cable and telephone runs for both my neighbour and myself. Happy to report the guys were so careful, not one issue. I checked with my neighbours after the job to ensure they were happy with how their rear yards were left, both said their yards were immaculate. In addition to the Ash trees in the back, we had permit approval to remove two mature Douglas Fir trees in the front that were damaged in the ice storm over the holidays. All five trees were removed in one day without incident and they left the place very clean. They came back two days later and chipped out all the stumps. We paid the extra charge to have them remove the excess mulch from the stump grinding and they again did an amazing job. I am pretty picky, their job was so good, I don’t feel the need to go out and even do any additional raking or cleanup. The entire crew was friendly, courteous and very respectful. They even offered to wait on the day of the removal while I cleared up a small clerical mix-up with the insurance certificate / waiver. I called the office, spoke with Al directly and he emailed it to me within minutes. I would use these guys again without hesitation. Dan does quality work at a very competitive price. We called Dan at 9:30 PM one evening, shortly after our 1st contractor bailed a week and a half before the job was to start. The scope of job included the demo of a kitchen and main bath remodel, removal and re-install of 400+ sf of ceramic tile, hardwood floor refinishing, central vac install, drywall and insulation work etc. Dan stood by his quote and did more than was in the contract at no additional charge. Near the end of the job my wife and I were concerned that not all the work was going to get done on time. Dan however came through in the end and we are very happy with the result. Dan provided a number of references all with good things to say about the work he did. We would be happy to be a reference for Dan and will use him for more work in the future.

Chis is the guy you want on your next move ! They were on time, efficient and very easy to deal with. The guys went out of their way to get some items to fit into the new house. To top it off they were $650 cheaper than the last moving company we used that also quoted on the job ! We are so glad we went with Nortown and find Homestars a powerful tool to find qualified trades.

We purchased some excellent quality tile at a great price. Factory Tile Depot allowed me to reserve more tile than I needed, until I was able to figure out how many sq ft I needed. They even offered to store the tile until we took posession of the new (resale) home we purchased. John / Kim and Ron were a big help and took a lot of time with my wife and I to get the right look. We can't wait to see what it will look like installed. The tile we originally selected was almost $5 cheaper at Factory Tile Depot than some high end stores on Dundas
