We recently hired Acadian to replace old carpet with hardwood and to re-model our stairs. The experience couldnt have been worse.

The subcontractor theyre hired did a fine job on the flooring, but the stairs were a total nightmare. We demanded Acadian to bring in someone more experienced to redo the stairs. We kept calling and emailing, and they just kept on dragging their feet. The job was supposed to take only one week but ended up taking more than two months.

Were not typically the one to bad mouth anyone, but its hard not to on this one. We do not recommend this company. They are very unprofessional.

Buyer beware of their products! Acadian Flooring does not stand behind the quality of their products, and/or doesn’t return phone calls unless it’s pertaining to a sale.

I purchased several cases of American Oak “Hazelnut” engineered hardwood to be installed by another professional company. The installers advised me they had to throw away about an entire case worth of product due to the inconsistent grooves. At first glance they’re a good thickness and quality but you’ll notice the lack of quality control once you begin installation. In fact, despite my hired team completing the project on time, they told me there was some delay due to having to take the pieces apart and retrying other pieces to make them fit and not waste more than they already had to.

I brought this to Judy’s attention at Acadian Flooring by email and by voicemail over a few weeks time and never received an acknowledgment or response.

I initially really liked this store for its layout, selection and price points but at the end of the day, I could have received better quality products from a different supplier. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere.

We have used Acadian in the past for our Hardwood Flooring and decided to seek their help again in removing the hallway carpeting and stair carpeting and replacing them with new hardwood steps with white risers and pickets. Judy gave us a an quote based on the number of steps and risers and then arranged for an installer to come over within a day or so.
The installer came and measured and took templates, and also suggested that we re - use the existing pickets and they would paint them, which would be less expensive than brand new pickets. After we received the final quote from Judy we went ahead with the job which was set up for less than a week later.
They estimated approx. 4 days for the job, removal of all carpeting and preparing from the lower floor up to the 2nd floor covering the furniture and protecting other areas. They arrived on time on the Monday morning and worked through until the evening and the whole job was completed by Wednesday evening, the materials and finishing was far above our original expectations the new hardwood floor in our upper hallway the new hardwood steps from basement to 2nd floor, along with the white risers , white pickets and white stringers look amazing. The guys that did the work were pleasant, helpful and skillful, they left our house as clean and tidy as when they arrived. We are overjoyed with the wonderful job and also the price. We would recommend Acadian and especially Judy to anyone.

I did quite a bit of searching until I found Acadian Flooring.
From start to finish they have been amazing. They know their products, were able to answer any questions I had and provide excellent quality. The installation was quick and easy and the finish result blew me away. Exceptionally happy, you also will not be disappointed.

Received Callback from Acadian Flooring - they reached an agreement with StoneSelex to honour the contract as it was written. The individual that I talked with was polite.

-paid $100 deposit for samples (image 1), they backdated an invoice 10 days later
-returned 10 days later, store credited $100 (image 2) rather than apply to purchase (image 3)
-placed order for stone, paid for 50% of order up front per Bill of Sale (image 3)
-store phones day or two later saying they misquoted, I need to pay $2 / sq ft more or they will not release order
-I phoned today and asked to talk with the owner - he claims that the price is now $3/sq ft more
-claim is that supplier rejected order, and that they have no responsibility/culpability

A few months ago we were looking to replace our carpet with hardwood flooring in our living & dining rooms. We had looked around for a while then visited Acadian. Marius was very helpful in assisting us in selecting the best style and colour of hardwood and the price was what we were looking for. The installation was on time and done very efficiently. We were so impressed with the work done that we had Acadian back a month later to install hardwood on our stairs and upper hallway. Both areas look great and we have received compliments from people who visit. If you are looking for a good company for flooring, I would highly recommend that you give Acadian a visit.

Excellent customer service from Judy Wong! We purchased solid
3 1/4" Jatoba and had it installed the very same week! Fast and effective floor installers made everything easy. Absolutely amazing service!!!

We used them before and I was not happy with the sub-contractor installers. I reminded them I did not want the same group and they agreed. However, the sub contractor they sent this time arrived with two useless women who did not speak a word of English and kept walking in and out of my house with their shoes on. They were replacing the flooring in two rooms. One which required them to access the second floor. They did place protective cloths down on the steps and the upstair pathway, but nothing was placed downstairs. The staircase is located near the centre of the house and they were walking all around it from various access points. I had to wash the floors as soon as they left. Street shoes are for the street, not for inside the home! They also emptied my china cabinet placing glasses on my wood table without any protection. They also moved my piano which again, they were not suppose to do. They were suppose to reach out to the project manager if they needed any furniture moved. Again, when furniture had to be moved from a room, I spoke to Roger of Acadian and he suggested we help the flooring guy to move chattels. Again, this is not a job for us to do but a job for the project manager to arrange a team of people to move furniture. That's what the project manager gets paid to do. Despite the above issues, the work done was fast and efficient, I was not pleased with the obvious 'family entourage'. That was extremely unprofessional.

I went to a couple of flooring stores before I ended up at the Acadian Flooring Centre to check out the different kinds of flooring options. Sherry, the sales lady, provided an excellent customer service for me. She was extremely knowledgeable about the products and very friendly. She suggested me a German laminate floor. The price was excellent for this high quality product. It was professionally installed in a timely manner. It is beautiful and durable. I love it. In addition, Sherry sent a repairman right away when I told her that some panels of the laminate floor moved away from each other for couple of millimeters.
