I hired Moncada to install a new front door and side windows. The day they did the install, they also did the same door for my next door neighbour. They did hers first and I went over to take a look. They had installed the peephole at a very reasonable height around 5 feet. After they installed mine and left, I discovered they had installed my peep hole at 5' 4", which is too high for me. I called them up the next day and spoke to the office staff, explaining that it was too high. This same staff member called me back the next day to say that Anthony told her I had requested it to be that high. Which is NOT what happened, the peephole was never even discussed on that day of the install, although it would have been a good idea for them to ask my opinion. The lady who called said I could either purchase another door or they would install a second peep hole, leaving the first one in place. In my opinion, a door with two peepholes would look ridiculous. I did not hear from or see Anthony once after ordering the door, so that led me to believe one of the installers must have told him that I requested it to be that high. I explained to the lady who called that I was not consulted on the height of the peephole, that I was extremely disappointed and I thought it was fair to assume I would get a peep hole at the same reasonable height as my neighbour. That was over a week ago and I never even got a call back. I'm shocked that I could spend $2300 on a front door and not even receive a call back after the installers screw up the job. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Apparently if all goes well, you're in luck. If something goes wrong you won't even get the courtesy of a phone call to explain their actions. Stay away.
