Reliable Dryer Vent

Was given a two hour window, and Mark arrived early in that time frame. He was courteous, answered my questions fully, and did a great job! The service was exactly as advertised on the website, and he left zero mess behind. He explained why he was removing the wire mesh that the previous owners had put at the top of the chimney (bad for the drafting) and the very next fire we laid had no smoke problems at all. Very satisfied, thank you!

I called Magic Touch last week to ask them to check our fireplace. Fred came by today, inspected the fireplace, and within minutes provided his recommendations, which included replacing the chimney cap (existing one let small animals in) and checking the the walls in the future for cracks. Although he didn't recommend a cleanup, I asked him to do it anyway. In the process, he found a dead squirrel and a bird. Since I've never had a fireplace before, he taught me how to start a fire safely and how to maintain the fireplace. Fred was very helpful, courteous, and professional. I think the cost is also fair and reasonable. I'd recommend hiring him and Magic Touch to friends. Thanks again, Fred!

I chose Magic Touch based on their HomeStars rating, and I was very happy with the results. Mark arrived near the beginning of the service window. He was very polite and hardworking. He began with my clothes dryer, cleaning all lint traps and the venting to the outside, then back in from the outside to the dryer. He then moved on to a gas fireplace, which he thoroughly cleaned. Lastly he cleaned our woodburning fireplace, which was quite dirty. He left all three work areas spotless, and was finished in good time. I look forward to having this company back every year!

We just moved into a house with a chimney and were relatively unfamiliar with chimney maintenance. But Mark told us that a sweep was not required and gave us plenty of other advice to get us going. H didn't have to do too much but what impressed me was his honesty. I think Magic Touch has won another long term customer.

Wow. Adam was fantastic. He came on time and prepared. Having just moved into our home we needed a professional to inspect the fireplaces. He found a dead bat and some feathers in one chimney not to mention both chimneys were not cleaned properly. Adam went on the roof without hesitation even with our extreme pitch. We also replaced both fireplace caps on the roof because ours had gaps and were an older style. I will definitely hire magic touch again next year for our annual cleaning. We ended up spending just under $500 because we bought the lifetime stainless steel caps as well as the cleaning.

I had Adam from Magic Touch come out on September 25, 2012 and the experience was top notch! I had previously called another HomeStars highly rated chimney service and they unfortunately was only interested in my money (i.e in the many thousands). So that is why I called Magic Touch to get another opinion. Adam was very, very professional and took the time to explain things to me. The chimney cleaning and chimney cap installation was very, very thorough and even though we were undergoing renovations, he still cleaned up his workspace. We are extremely happy with Magic Touch and we appreciate Adam going the extra mile with everything he did for us - Adam really does make a difference in people's lives and our experience with Magic Touch!!! Adam from Magic Touch came to my new home to clean out my wood burning fireplace. He was early, professional and very efficient. Before I knew it, the interior of the fireplace was cleaned and a chimney cap was installed. As he was leaving, I mentioned a problem with my front door latch. To my surprise, he whipped out a screwdriver and with the wd-40 I supplied to him, it was working in seconds!! Adam helped me when he didn't have to and went over and above what he was supposed to do!! Wow!! I thought only maritimers did that.... impressed, happy and will call Magic Touch again!!
