The professionalism, attention to detail and politness of the 3 gentlemen moving us, Richard, Joel and Thomas was nothing short of outstanding. They were on time, steady in pace and knew exactly what they were doing. I have moved over 10 times in my life and wished I had Scannell movers every time. Excellent move!! Stress free.

In April the crew arrived on time, very friendly & professional, the contents of our home were labeled and taken to storage, in September the truck arrived again on time, the crew had the truck unloaded and everything in place in our new home in a few hours. This was a great experience, no damages, we would recommend Scannell Moving & Storage to all our friends & family, We are so glad that we chose Scannell for our move & will use them for our next move as well. I priced out several movers in Ontario (where I was moving to). The price given was not the cheapest but since this was all of my possessions .... This was not the time to cheap out. The crew arrived on time, wrapped all of my furniture. I was actually surprised how efficient they were. Arrived at destination when they said, unloaded in terrible weather and actually the bill came in under estimate. My only problem is that they were Leaf fans, but after the great job I can forgive that. Thanks to all of the staff !

I had a great experience with Scannell Moving. I required storage as well as my move as I was in between houses and needed to rent. It was convenient to be able to book my move and use storage with the same company. The move was seamless and the movers were professional and courteous. They showed up on time and finished within the time that was quoted. The storage fees were also very reasonable. I would highly recommend this company if you are planning to move or require storage.

I used to use Scannell Moving for my clients exclusively with m minimal damage. In 2010 I had them move my senior client and they showed up to the job late with the impression that the leader was hung over as he said that he was. He smelled like alcohol and was witnessed by the client, her daughter and myself. When they had finished loading the truck they said they were going to Tim Horton's down the street for lunch which they did not do as I went to meet them there and they were not there. As they unloaded the furniture at the new location they had broken furniture, mirrors and almost all of the poor senior's possessions. We all smelled recent alcohol on the boss Ben. When the job was done he took her $800 and it was then when re-arranging the furniture that we noticed most of it was in a broken state that was not in that condition before they came. I went to Scannell and spoke to the owner who stood up for Ben. I came to find out later that that Ben owned his own truck and was an asset to the company in that respect. They refused to fire him but said that he would look into it and fire him if he felt it was true. I stopped using them immediately. Approximately a month ago I was packing at a job when the movers arrived. I could recognize his voice from the other room and when I saw him he had grown a facial hair but it was him. He had forgotten where he had met me and I kept a low profile so he wouldn't remember me and take it out on the client. In the meantime I went outside and called the client and told her of my experience with them. After the move I asked her how it went and she told me that they had scratched her floor and did some damage. Scannell was a good moving company otherwise for the exception to when Ben was doing the job. If you use them, make sure that you indicate that you do not want him or expect damages. I would recommend them only on conditions. I have since started using other movers who are reputable, reliable, efficient and more cost effective.

We had an awful experience with Scanell. Virtually all our furniture was damaged during the move. My $3000 leather couch is ruined, my dining room chairs are scraped, my dining room table had a chunk of wood knocked out of it etc etc..

They arrived 40 minutes late, took a 20 minute break after the first hour and proceed to text and wander off during the rest of the move.. Avoid this company at all costs.
