Did 3 quotes for interlocking and deck. Alan was the winner because the fence was going up and needed it done before then and he seemed to be on par with the other interlockers. That should have been my warning bell. He was courteous throughout but when the job was finished and he was paid that was the end. I noticed that a couple of the stones started to have white marks ooze out of them and asked him to replace them. He did not reply to me. Noticed too that the sand that should go between the bricks were missing in some areas. After many calls and emails I finally told him to forget the discoloured bricks and bring me the sand. He dropped the sand off a couple of days later. Last summer I noticed that the stones were moving and the edging that should keep them stable was also moving and that weeds were growing between the stones. I called but the numbers was not in service. I emailed and after a couple of emails got a reply saying he would come by when he can. That was that. Nothing since then. I think he just deletes my emails or have them go to the trash. The warrantee that he gave me means nothing because he will not honour it. Customers do not be taken in, a warrantee is only good if it will be honoured and a company is only as good as it's after service care. Now I will have to pay to get a handyman to fix the issues.
