Two servicemen came within hours and replaced the springs on a large wooden double door for $500 including tax and labour. Before they came, the office gave us an estimate based on our description of the problem and gave us good advice. We were feeling bad about treatment from another company that had quoted $1100 + tax and tried to upsell an elderly man for more work. We feel comfortable recommending this company.

Another company replaced the springs for $500 including tax and labour. The website and yellow pages advertise "free quotes" but they charged $150 + tax for a service call and did not do any work. Read the fine print and make sure to get two quotes if you use this company.
