My house was in desperate need of new windows and Amica was one of the companies who replied to my inquiry. Michael came by to look at our windows, explain the process and discuss all of our different options. Michael was really personable, took his time to explain everything and provide all the options. He wasn't pushy and really sold the company for us. Given his interaction with us we decided to go with Amica. He was always available for questions via text or phone call. The install was pretty hectic given the amount of windows and doors we had to do but the team did a good job. There were a few minor issues but Michael made sure to address each and every one of them. There were a few things I would have liked to know before the install but I provided the feedback and I am sure it will be noted for future clients. The windows are great and the triple pane are performing well. We will have to see how it goes over the winter next year as we are at the end now but I imagine it will be great. At least I will have peace of mind about the lifetime warranty.

Horacio was great on the phone. He answered all of my questions and had me booked in right away to take care of my pest problem. I forgot the gentleman's name they sent out but he was fantastic. We walked the property together, discussed the work and reviewed everything at the end. This is easily the best pest control company I have ever used and I will be calling them again for my next spray. Really glad I found them on HomeStars.

Roly was honestly incredible. He spent a ton of time answering all of my questions, helping me find the right door and then coordinating the order and install. He always answered quickly and was kind and courteous. Not only that but his prices were so reasonable. The install was quick and he walked me through everything once it was done. He truly stands behind his work and it was a pleasure working with him. I won't hesitate to recommend his services to friends, family or neighbours.

I needed someone to give me a consultation regarding the issue I had in my basement. They provided knowledgable advice and helped me find the best solution for my needs. I hope I wont need them in the future but if I do I know who to call.

Saif was so kind and was quickly able to help me change my dryer exhaust. He answered all of my questions and ensured it was up to code. As a new home owner it was assuring to have someone as knowledgeable help me. He even looked at my AC for me. I am so happy with the service and would easily recommend him to anyone. I know Ill need his help in the future and he will be the only call I make.

This is the second time I have hired J and J moving. John and his team are honestly great. Funny enough one of the same guys from 2019 was on this job again and he remembered me. J and J do an excellent job moving and its all by the hour. You dont have to worry about those movers who take your stuff and weigh it and then charge you more. I had originally booked two movers but they brought three which was fine. There was no pressure to use the third guy but once we had a look at my place I decided to use the third guy and it was a great decision. It made the trips down from the condo way faster as someone could load from the apartment, the other took it down and then the third to the truck. They came prepared with all the wrapping materials had I needed any. They were punctual, kind and polite. If I happen to move again this is the only company I will call.

Being a new homeowner I needed a ton of things done for my home. Randy was so kind and easy to work with on HomeStars that I had no doubts hiring him for a ton of jobs. From the first day he was professional, polite, his communication was great and I was astounded by the work he could do. He even helped when I had a washer and dryer delivery and we had an issue getting them through the doors. He truly is a jack of all trades and his quality and knowledge cant be understated. Im looking forward to hiring him for all the future projects I have planned. If you need someone capable for a job, dont look anywhere else.

Will came by to help with some electrical work I needed done for my new home including some outlets for my wall mounted tvs. He was very pleasant, easy to work with and answered all of my questions. He looked at areas of concern I had and made sure there were no issues. I would hire him in a heartbeat for future jobs.

The fill valves on my toilet had gone by and I had put in a request to find someone to help. The front office staff was very helpful and so was the project coordinator. They emailed and called to discuss my issue and find the right person who could help. I was assigned Ben who was FANTASTIC. He was kind, accommodating and explained everything. Upon his arrival he inspected and diagnosed the issue to determine what needed to be done. From there he gave me all the options and answered any questions I had. I was honestly thrilled. I couldn't have asked for someone better. I have had experience with other professionals before but his manner, attitude and work was outstanding. I am so happy to have the problem solved. While he was here I asked about some work that I need done in the future and he was happy to discuss and let me know it could be done. I am looking forward to hiring him again soon!

I was looking for some movers to help me go from my current rental apartment to my new condo. I talked to friends and co-workers all who gave me horror stories about movers keeping items, or breaking things in transit. John messaged me through Homestars and went over everything with me.
