We weren’t selling or buying just thought it would be good to have a home inspection in case we needed to take steps to avoid any possible issues getting worse. The House almost got a clean bill of health EXCEPT. 7 years ago we replaced our roof and the roofing contractor attached our flang wrong. Our gas fireplace chimney became unattached and for 7 years our fire place was putting smoke straight into our attic. Our fire place had charred the ceiling of the attic and put fumes in our attic for 5 years. The subsequent repair didn’t cost much but Lighthouse Inspections might have saved our house or our life.
