We had a small house with big problems; and needed help Fast! Aluminum wiring (Builder used it to lower construction costs. it works but not better than copper.), missing baseboard heaters, missing thermostats (basically no reliable heat source), half of the outlets didn't work, and breakers tripping because of overloaded circuits. We turned to 'HomeStars' to find a professional. After reviewing our options we contacted Babil Electric. Jan was quick to respond, come to our house, and provide a written quote. JOB ON !!! All outlets and switches (38) replaced, all overhead lighting (9) inspected with everything 'pig tailed' to accommodate the aluminum wiring, 9 new baseboard heaters and digital thermostats supplied and installed (and rewired when required), 2 new separate outlet lines in the basement, replaced 2 outdoor GFCI outlets and installed a new line to our backyard deck with 2 more GFCI outlets., installed a new line and 'box', and hung a beautiful light fixture in our upstairs staircase, and numerous small catches. Jan found things that we didn't see and we are glad that he did. We can't thank Jan and his team enough for restoring our house. In two days they transformed our 'Big Problem' into 'No Problem'. We now have our little house working again. Our next Electrical project will be a direct call to Jan at Babil Electric.

We contacted the company in February and was promptly contacted by a salesperson who was very knowledgeable and comfortable to talk with. At our convenience we met and discussed options for the work to be done. A quote was done on the spot. We did call to add to our order and the additional work costs were minimal. There were no hidden costs, price paid was the price quoted. With the weather a concern work still started as scheduled and was completed in a timely manner. The crew was very professional; but we knew this because we had observed them working on a neighbours house, before placing our order. They work well together as a highly skilled team, efficient and organized. They cleaned as they went and there was never a mess. The quality of the work is stellar. We are impressed with the transformation of our house and are constantly receiving comments from neighbors and those passing by.
