We are very pleased with our six new windows from Renewal by Andersen. Blayne, the sales rep, did a great job of fielding our many questions and explaining the technology and manufacturing that goes into the windows, and came up with a creative solution of having a larger sill added to the inside of our front window in lieu of a bay window. He also got us some discounts that made going with this company affordable. Nelson did the measurements and paid us a visit after the installation was complete to make sure that we were happy with the final product. The installersMatt, Corey, and Robwere professional, friendly, tidy, and worked with a great attitude, even despite the less than ideal late November weather conditions. Our house felt warmer and quieter from day one, and we look forward to many years of clear views.

Aquatech did exterior waterproofing of our basement in November 2021. Being a bit superstitious, I didnt want to write a glowing review immediately after the completion of our waterproofing job, especially since our backyard has a tendency to flood after the snow melts in the spring. But I can now confirm that our basement has stayed dry after two spring melts and the heavy rains weve had in between. When we were gathering quotes, Nico answered all of the questions that we had and was able to explain the process in detail in language we could understand. We were able to get a price reduction by dismantling our deck and moving our shed ourselves. Tomek and his crew did a great job and were finished in four days.

We had a great experience working with Brick Aid Masonry, from our initial contact for an estimate, to the visit to assess the work needed, to the work itself. Our original request was to fix the crumbling mortar on our front porch steps, as well as seal the flagstone of the porch and steps. Phong’s description of their approach to fixing the mortar “sealed” the deal. Once we decided to go with Brick Aid for the job, we asked Phong whether his team would be able to partially close up a window as well, in advance of a waterproofing job that was due to start later in November. That task was added to our job, and Phong and Van made both the porch and the reduced window look great. Thank you so much!

After the heavy rains at the end of February, we were horrified to discover a small section of our ceiling paint hanging down with wet, crumbling plaster underneath. Chuck was able to make repairs (and used 12-13 tubes of caulking in the process!) that have kept our ceiling dry ever since AND came with a one-year warranty, meaning that we have time to get estimates for replacing our shingles. Thanks for the advice and peace of mind, Chuck!!
