After meeting with a few companies we went with HTR. They provided us with a very reasonable quote and more importantly, we like what they offered and their cost transparency. We were having our 25+ years old, finished basement updated. It was a full gut project. Alex was our contact/PM and he answered the many questions we had prior to our commitment to the project, and was always available and quick to reply to our questions/concerns during the project. Alex was very accommodating when we requested small changes during demo and build. He was informative when we asked for things that would not be in our best interest, to ensure we understood our request fully, and any implications. His advice was sound and we fully trusted him. We were provided a project schedule by Alex prior to start, so we knew who was coming and what day. All the teams that were involved in this project, from demo crew to electricians, drywallers, tapers, muders, plumbers, painter and handyman were very skilled, hardworking and efficient. The communication flowed well between these crews and Alex, our PM. There wasn't anything that Alex didn't know about. He visited the site regularly to check on progress, but he received updates daily and knew of any/all issues, if they arose. We were pleasantly surprised that a professional cleaning service was provided at the end to clean, dust, mop etc. This was on the schedule but we assumed it would be one of the crew members. Nice touch. Overall, we are very happy with the end result and love every square inch of our newly finished basement, including the custom wall unit in my husbands music studio (which was also soundproofed). We have received many compliments from friends and family. The cherry on top was when our movers commented that they have seen many, many basement renos while moving contents back into client's newly finished basements, and they felt ours was a stellar job with fine attention to detail.

Our family has used RoadRunners 3 times in the last 6 months for various moves and they are amazing. Brendon and Paul are very efficient and careful with your items. They come prepared with supplies and tools for any situation. We will be using them again in the near future. RoadRunners are now our go-to. Thanks guys!! Youre the best!!

We are beyond thrilled with our kitchen reno. From the beginning we received excellent service from answering our many questions, to finish selections, to guidance on optimal layout and function of our small galley kitchen. We had a small wall removed, bulkhead removed and numerous potlights added to both our kitchen and adjoining family room, in addition to our kitchen redo. Their electrician was excellent as well. Barb, Dave, Terry and Trevor were outstanding. They were patient with the small unplanned changes we requested along the way and took great pride in their workmanship. My husband and I have a discerning eye and are particular about the small details and this team delivered in spades. In our opinion, thats what separates MacLeans from other kitchen companies. They cared right down to the little details and finishing touches and always ensured we were satisfied with each days work. We cant say enough great things about this MacLeans. Choose them without any hesitation at all. They are also very fairly priced. Thank you!! We LOVE our new kitchen!!

This is the second time we hired Erki. His work is excellent and his attention to detail is outstanding. This time we hired him to remove the popcorn ceiling in our home, excluding the 3 bedrooms. Minimal mess, and he took the care to clean up each day. He works methodically and doesnt rush so his work is always pristine. The first time we hired him to paint our home and we were extremely pleased with his work and knew he would be our go to painter for any work required in our home. We already told him well be calling him next year when we take on another project. Dont look any further. Erki is the best out there.

Erki is a master painter. He’s very meticulous and takes pride in his work. He painted most of our home and the level of attention he paid to prepping, patching and painting is top notch. We had new hardwood floors installed and he took time to prep them properly before painting. We also had him paint the stringers to our newly installed stairs and he did an impeccable job. His lines are so neat. Very impressive! My husband and I are very particular about details and generally not cutting corners and we were not disappointed. Our walls never looked so good. All imperfections were repaired/sanded and the finished walls, doors and trim look amazing - no lines, streaks, etc. Additionally it was our pleasure having Erki in our home. He’s a true gentleman. I would very highly recommend hiring Erki. His prices are competitive and the service is outstanding.

Sheila was fantastic to deal with as we worked through all the details and questions we had about the job. We installed engineered hardwood flooring upstairs and new oak stairs to match our existing main floor. Sheila was able to accomodate a unique requirement we had with our floor upstairs and even managed a last minute change with our posts without any issue. Chester installed our floors and stairs and he was a true professional and craftsman. You can tell he takes pride in his work by how he manages the little things. We are very particular about details and he exceeded our expectations. That says a lot. We will definitely use Canada Hardwood again. There’s no need to look any further. Hire them, you won’t be disappointed!

New Century Maids was efficient and delivered on what they committed to. they were also very responsive when I was inquiring about their services before I hired them. Would definitely use them again.

Donovan was very prompt in responding to my service request and provided a very fair price to replace my father in law’s faucet and install shut off valves. He even went out of his way to go and exchange the new faucet we had bought for install because it did not fit the sink, and came back to the house to reinstall. This was very considerate of him to do for an elderly home owner. We will not hesitate to refer D-Mac to our friends and family. Thank you Donovan! UPDATE 11/27/2018: we’ve used D-Mac 2 more times since this last review and we’ve been very pleased each time. D-Mac will be our go to for all our plumbing needs. Don’t hesitate to hire, they won’t disappoint!
