After completing a much larger job of rebuilding an extension and creating a flagstone patio and fire pit with a new pergola in 2016, we invited Joe back to create a parking pad. We didn't even ask for quotes from competitors because we love his work so much! Creating a parking pad was bittersweet for me. It meant digging up a garden I'd nurtured for years. But Joe was great! He even transplanted the mature Japanese maple that was in our front yard to our neighbour's backyard! He was able to source the stone I was after (he ended up finding reclaimed cobblestones from the TTC, which worked with the history of our house while achieving the overall look I wanted). He worked closely with us at each step to ensure we were on the same page and he worked within the guidelines set by the city (no easy feat!). When we parked on the pad for the first time, the stones didn't move at all. This parking pad is built to last! Our neighbours have all been watching the transformation closely and one has already requested Joe. We'll definitely have him back for our next project. Kim

We have been using Enercare to service our furnace and a/c units for years. The most recent furnace maintence appointment was just this week. Sean arrived during the agreed on time. He was personable, efficient and knowledgeable. He shared the best type of filters for our unit, how to continue to extend the life of the unit and answered questions concerning our a/c in preparation for summer. I'd highly recommend Sean and the company.

Atiar fixed our oven two days before Christmas! We are so grateful. He was diligent, knowledgeable and polite. I would recommend him to anyone needing an appliance repaired. After a very negative experience working with Toronto Appliances Service (the company recommended by Kitchen Aid customer support), my husband and I decided to contact Atiar at Hightech after reading about him on HomeStars. He returned our call quickly and came to the house at the appointed time. He clearly communicated his plan of action and worked diligently to fix the oven. He asked for a drop cloth so as not to damage the floor when pulling the oven away from the wall. He even vacuumed the top of the oven when it was opened up. He guaranteed his work for 90 days and reassured us that if the repair didn't work, he would replace the control board but not charge us for his labour. That is pretty hard to beat! The oven now works beautifully! We'll definitely call Atiar next time one of our appliances needs a repair.
