This should be a no star review. I hired The Mover Guys for a small, 1 bdrm move. There was no large furniture to move, aside from a two cushion sofa. No Bed, No TV, No Stereo System, No computer. I was also moving 300 metres, to another build just north. I was told it would probably take 1 hour plus 1 hour travel, and was quoted $300.00. They showed up late. Took 3.5 hours, and charged me over $700.00 They also broke an antique, blaming me and the manufacturer of the piece for the damage. The supervisor then showed up and told me that these things happen and there wasn't anything they would do. After showing him that the damage was clearly the movers fault, he suddenly "knew a guy" who could fix it. Keep in mind this is an antique and my grandfather's. I said fixing it through an unknown wasn't what I wanted. He then told me he could ask his boss for a discount on the move, but I had to pay the total amount immediately, and he would get back to me. He then "accidentally" got the math wrong three times and added a credit card fee, despite the fact I wasn't paying by credit card Here is the "best" part, I looked up the business and he has no boss, he is the boss and only listed employee of the business. He is the Operations Manager and Principle Owner. It had been over 24 hours and they are now refusing to do anything. They are not professional. They care very little for their clients or their property. They are incredibly inefficient and will suddenly find reasons to charge you extra fees, they never mentioned during their quote. *Note* After more unpacking I have found they also broke glassware and some how they also lost some of my clothing!

The salient points. On both sides of the mover the actual movers showed up at random times and without the promised call ahead. On the packing side it was 2.5 hours early and no call to say they were coming. On delivery side 15 minutes late and still no call to tell me where they were. Callous disregard of proper in terms of packing (& I paid for full packing) Then I had to hound them for a delivery and was then dictated as to when they would show up. No discussion. Finally once they got here they misquoted my bill and tried to charge me $400 extra. Because I wouldn't pay it they left my property outside in the snow. I am still going through my property and finding broken items. DO NOT USE THIS MOVER
