We did significant plaster repair and repaint of most of the property. As always Bill and his team were fabulous from quote to completion. We have used Bill and his team for several projects and it's always a pleasure. Highly highly recommend!

This is by far the worst experience we have had with a contractor. We hired them based on a referral to build a concrete pad for a hottub. The work was very sporadic, they will clearly working around other jobs and would show up at random hours. As a result the job went on for weeks longer than necessary. The yard was left a mess. The actual concrete pad was so sloped that when the hottub went on on one edge it was overflowing and one side didn’t cover the jets. When we contacted them they offered to repair it but blamed the access on our property and said they should have charged us more. Due to the horrible customer service and our lack of confidence in their abilities, We wound up hiring another company for significant repairs because the company was properly resourced (ie a crew, mechanical wheelbarrows and a cement mixer none of which Y and Y used for our property). We requested a refund from Y and Y and not only did they decline it but they said we should have paid them more (despite the fact they quoted on the job twice). I have never given a negative review on HomeStarts but I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone.

We have been using Air Treatment to maintain and repair our gas boiler and AC for 12 years. Josh and his team are great. Very responsive, honest and fair. In an emergency they treat it like an emergency which is also great. We Recommend them to all our friends. I have put down our average annual cost which includes all repairs. They sell service packages also.

We installed new concrete steps and railing. A friend recommended alumarail to us. The had a good selection, reasonable prices and we’re timeline and courteous. We were happy with the end result and would use them again.

Toronto Generators came highly recommended to us from a constructor. They did a fantastic job. Michelle in the office kept us informed at every step of the way. The install was seamless and we are thrilled with the result. All their trades were great and followed Covid protocols. Highly recommend.

Our front steps were in terrible shaped and began to crack. We hired Carlo to remove the existing steps (two sets), rebuild both sets of stairs in concrete and cover the stairs and the porch with stone. They did a great job. The crew was diligent, talented and respectful. The work was done thoroughly and the team cleaned the site daily. They were also punctual. The quality of the work was fantastic and we were thrilled with how it turns out. We have more work to do on some retaining walls and walkway. We will definitely be calling Carlo for that job!

We hired them to waterproof part of our basement and install a sump pump. There were some issues on the initial install but they went above and beyond to correct the issue and we were very impressed. The only thing I didn't love is the high pressure sales tactics so I gave them a 9 instead of a 10. The product and production/installation teams are a 10!

Our dryer stopped working on the Saturday of a long weekend. Within an hour of calling, someone was at our house fixing our dryer and it was working again in an hour and a half. Thankfully they had the part we needed in stock. Amazingly, we were NOT charged a premium for same day service/service on a long weekend. The price was very fair and much lower than the other repair people I called (who did not have the part in stock). We are so thankful and would use High Tech again. We highly recommend them!!

Mike is amazing. The name "best fence" really says it all. He was very fair, courteous, promt and understanding. We are in the middle of a neighbour dispute and had to change our fence plans a few times on short notice. Mike went above and beyond the call of duty to accomodate these challenges, which was very much appreciated by our family. The fence is gorgeous and beautifully constructed. The price was fair and the service was exceptional. We will certainly be using Mike again in the future and recommending him to everyone we know!

We interviewed several flooring companies and were very impressed with Azores. Our floors in certain parts of the house were in terrible shape and likely on the last sand. As well, the hardwood in the treated area (stairs, upstairs, hall) was being refinished to match the colour in our living room. In addition, our home has radiant in-floor heating via copper pipes and it was clear Azores had the technical knowledge to ensure no damage was done to the heating system in the event we needed to replace any boards. We were very impressed by the detailed quote and contracted them for the job. Azores price was competitive and they finished our floors and quarter-round in a week. From the team at our house to Maria in the office, the customer service was EXCEPTIONAL and the quality second to none. Azores went above and beyond what was expected of them (and for no additional charge). Our floors turned out beautifully and more than one person has asked if we installed new hardwood. I cannot say enough about Azores. They were an absolute pleasure to deal with - upfront, knowledgeable, honest and competitively priced. The work product was exceptional and we are just thrilled.

Elte has fantastic selection and service. Darlene Jiwani did an amazing job helping us select living room furniture and a rug. We are thrilled with the results and stayed on budget. Great service. By far the most pleasant furniture shopping experience we have ever had! A++++.

Finer edge recently painted our house. They came in on time and on budget and the workmanship was superb. Highly professional. Derek and his team did a great job. They even repaired our ceiling at no extra charge.

We hired Lakeside to remove several large tree branches hanging directly over our home. It was a difficult job and we received many quotes. Lakeside was fantastic - they took a great deal of care to make sure the limbs were removed safely and efficiently. Ross is a pleasure to deal with and is reliable, honest and straightford. We are in the process of getting additional quotes from Lakeside for internal renovations and look forward to working with them again.
