My purchase experience at their castle field branch was great. Very helpful customer service personnel. However, I unfortunately have to echo some of the reviews on two points: the poor delivery service, and the poor quality of the goods delivered. I bought a king sized bed. It was delivered with a scratch on the head board which I decided to just accept. The delivery guys did not want to take it upstairs as it “wouldn’t fit”. When I asked them to try (as I had checked the dimensions several times), they complained that it wouldn’t and yet ultimately it took 10 min to get it up the stairs. The bed was assembled very poorly and continues to wobble. I made the mistake of purchasing more furniture. This time it was a dining table. Again the purchase experience was great, but it was delivered 2 months late. When it arrived, it was cracked and the table leg was chipped. The delivery person said it wasn’t his problem. I called customer service and I’m still waiting to hear back. I am very disappointing by the quality I received. If I wanted packed-furniture quality, I wouldn’t have paid thousands of dollars and waited months for a dining table. I certainly won’t be buying from them again.

I had open riser staircases installed in my townhouse in 2020. Since then, the wood remained unfinished because I have not been able to find anyone that I felt confident enough to hand the job to. The stairs are small, and lined with glass railings; this required a lot of patience and expertise. I was given various insane quotes and was even told to perhaps only finish the top of each tread because the rest was too difficult. When I contacted Phil, I got a quick and courteous response to my questions. He came personally to look at the stairs (which I really appreciated), and explained the process of finishing the stairs to me. He put my mind at ease and I felt he really knew his craft. He gave me a detailed quote within a couple of days, and was happy to answer all my questions. Needless to say, his quote was thousands of dollars less than what I had been previously given. When it came to doing the job, Phil was punctual, meticulous and left the place spotless. He took his time, and found ways to stain the wood in very hard to reach areas (behind glass panels, and close to walls) which no one else wanted to do. I was very grateful for his incredible attention to detail, and his commitment to give me an excellent result. Another reviewer referred to Phil as the "consummate professional" and he truly is. This is very rare to find nowadays in the world of renovations, especially in Toronto. I would whole-heartedly recommend his services!

I recently moved into a townhouse that had an old and nonfunctional security system. I contacted Steve to get an idea of the cost- he replied very quickly, was honest and very professional. Booking a time slot for the job was quick and painless. Joe did the upgrades- he was very efficient and patiently answered all my questions and addressed my concerns. John placed a lock on my patio door as the lock was broken and went through all my doors to check if they are secure. I was impressed with their work an honesty- I was told when my doors already had "the best lock available" and they certainly did not push me to buy something I did not need. I very much appreciate this level of professionalism and integrity. I would certainly recommend them to friends in the future.
