New bedroom set and kitchenette

Disappointed in Mobilia. Bought a new bedroom set and kitchenette last month. Scheduled a delivery last week for today with the same dispatcher who just told me that was not confirmed. He tells me it's confirmed for Saturday the 28th but I've heard a version of that before. We spent all last night tearing apart the bedroom and kitchen for this delivery and have company coming over the holidays. Mobilia is very quick to take your money, delivering your paid product not so much.b

All about sales!!

You cannot cancel your online purchase! They have a 3 days policy!!
I faced with a major family chaos, that required me to cancel my online purchase. I have to move out of the country. It was the 5th day, after I placed the order, and I didnt pick up the items yet, I asked for a cancellation and explained the situation I was in. Nope! It doesnt matter whether I was a loyal customer with lots of purchases from this store, it didnt matter. They made their sale and didnt want to cancel it.
But never again!!!

Trash quality and after sale service

Got one dresser and two nightstands delivered, only one nightstand has no damage.

Can't even get refund for defected product.

Tried to contact after sale service many times, it takes forever for them to answer the call. The lady on the phone told me you can't expect people always answering your call, because they have only one person to answer the phone. I have no idea what she expect from the customer, isn't she got paid to answer the phone?

DO NOT TAKE THE RISK OF DEFECTED UNRETURNABLE PRODUCTS FROM THEM!!!
IF YOU DON'T HAVE A TRUCK YOU CAN'T EVEN RETURN IT TO THE STORE BECAUSE THEY ARE PRE ASSAMBLED!

AVOID THIS COMPANY

Terrible customer service. I received a bed bought from Mobilia liquidation with damages that were not present the day of purchase nor in the disclaimer form. We reached out to customer service and the lady was not collaborative and very rude . We also emailed the MARKETING email adress mentionned in all the comments but no one responded or reached out even after a follow up. All what we are asking for is to receive a bed in the same shape we bought it for . It is unacceptable to go visit the store and buy a bed in a certain condition then receive one with other damages that were not present . Mobilia completely ruined our move out experience I am still not able to use the bed I bought because they refuse to take responsability for their mistake . Avoid this company because if anything happens they will completly ignore you . SO FRUSTRATING !!

Westlyn recliner, black leather

This recliner is a very good looking sofa. The leather and mechanism appear to be good.

There are a lot of buts:
- the stiletto legs will mark your hardwood floor forever. Since the base has its own legs, there are no good options: furniture leg protectors will not work since the stilettos are mounted at an angle and are not round.
- This of course becomes a major problem on delivery and when moving.
- The advertised "solid wood" is neither solid nor wood. Instead, the base is extremely wobbly by design, holding the sofa together from side to side and front to back, but when lifting it, the ends will turn against each other in the vertical plane.
- the reclining seats are only held by four screws each.
( For me, the seats were not not even held by those screws, one bolt was simply sheared of, the bolts in the middle severely bent)
- by construction, these screws and bolts are extremely difficult to deal with once damaged.
- absolutely make sure the seats are properly attached (1), the bolts are intact and not bent (2), do not use an impact drive as it may shear bolts (!), and secure the inclining mechanism to the base using 4 solid wood screws on each seat (3), where the mechanism has screw holes already for your convenience.
- if you have trouble with the bolts be double careful with repairs.
A sheared of bolt is likely to be stuck and the nuts used are embedded and can easily start turning with your tool, in which case you would have to cut them out using a 1 inch hole drill, which in turn will be problematic if you hit the nut with your guide drill, and so on. Better return the sofa right away.

Service from Mobilia is between dodgy and non-existant. I was asked in turns to (a) find my own repair shop (b) accept a 20% price reduction, or
(c) return the sofa. Of course when trying to confirm the reduction, they would even calculate the reduction on the gross price. Still trying to get their attention.

Be careful that you get a written statement of the warranty of the furniture with them, the warranty is not on their site and in hindsight they will not produce it either. Whatever the sales person tells you is gone with the wind.

Broken window, no compensation, no responsibility taken.

Save yourself and never give them a single dollar. The installers broke our window while putting the table in the room. After a million emails and calls there is no responsibility taken, complete denial of the situation and no amount of money compensated for the damage.

The last drop was today's phone call where the manager Melissa so kindly told us that there is nothing the company will do since the installers did not break the window and the window was very far from the table. She wished us a great day how cute and sweet. You are so lucky that for some reason on this site, I cannot attach a picture. There is a beautiful picture that shows how the table is as far as 50 cm away from the window. That is indeed a very far distance. The installers did not do it, THE GHOSTS DID IT!! Exactly during the installation of the table GHOSTS CAME IN AND BROKE OUR WINDOW!!

We will not give up and we will keep fighting, you are in the wrong and you know it. Take responsibility and pay for the damage which by the way is at least $1200 to repair the window. I will tell everyone I know to never give you any money! Have a great day!!! :)))

Comfy couch

We ordered a couch from Reshma. A sectional for our newly renovated. house. I can't begin to tell you how comfortable and firm this sectional is. It really compliments our family room. Reshma was a dream to work with. She met our every need. We will be going. back to get some wing back chairs. This store is wonderful and definitely ask for Reshma. She will give you the best advice.

Chairs

I purchased a Italian made chair and was told it was real leather. We even took the service plan for them, but the leather started to sag and I called them and they said they will send a person. It took them around six months to finally send someone. When the guy came he said who told you these chairs are leather, we said the sales rep and he says I can tell you that 100% they are not real leather. I tried to contact the head office but no one seems to reply. I was misinformed and I think they should exchange the chairs.

Sofa quality review

I purchased this sectional sofa only two years ago, and it's mainly used by my husband and me. However, suddenly, the foam has sunk more than four inches in one corner of the sectional. We also invested in a protection plan when buying the sofa. Surprisingly, both Mobilia and the protection plan provider claim that this kind of foam sinking is not covered and consider it normal wear and tear. I fail to understand how such drastic issue can be classified as normal wear and tear. I made a significant investment in this sofa, and now I regret it, as this is the second repair within two years
