In 2004 Canak replaced our windows and doors. There were problems right from the start, as window measurements were wrong and installation was bad. There were gaps and cracks which lead to air leaks and fungus build-up. It took many calls and pleadings, plus letters from the better business bureau before Canak made some repairs. 2 years later the problems returned as glued parts popped off and original problems returned. 4 years later and we are still waiting for repairs/solution. Even though the Manufacturer Window City will supply free material, Canak refuses to pay for the tecnician's labour - so the repairs are still not done. We paid Canak $13,500. Canak refuses to pay $400 to the technician to do the repair work that is needed now, even though there is a 25 year warranty in place. Canak does not care about customer satisfaction. Mike at Canak slams the phone down whenever I call, he is a rude little man. I've handled this matter politely in the past when dealing with Canak. Do yourself a favour and AVOID CANAK WINDOWS AND DOORS.
