It was time to renovate the old kitchen but we also wanted to open up the walls to create a modern open floor concept to the living room and add an island. I knew the walls were load bearing and could not trust just anyone working on our home, so I looked for a reputable company with expertise and experience. I researched Aldo and their competency was evident from the photos of their previous works, so I called Alex for an assessment. Alex impressed me with his knowledge and professionalism. He not only explained in detail the scope of work required but also helped me to understand other factors of the project I hadn't considered such as he state of the ceiling afterwards and electrical work required. He conceptualized the project from start to end down to the minute details with too many to lists. Alex dedicated to our project from start to finish. He handled all communications with the city to secure our permit and kept us informed throughout the entire process. He kept his attention to every details to ensure the highest quality of workmanship and the results were more than satisfying. My old roof was over 30 years and time for replacement. As usual, whom to call? So I turned to Homestars and got 3 quotes from the top of the list for my area. I read lots of reviews and all where similar. I went with Gitano cause they had the better pricing and really explained all the phases of the process. The end result, beautiful new roof, love the color I picked. A new roof really gives a house a face lift. The team came in very early and were friendly and professional. They cleaned up afterwards. If I had to pick a knock against them, it is that they didn't remind me to cover my AC and a result, there were some debris that I had to clean out and some scuff marks from fallen old shingles. I can't really fault them for that, but it would have been an extra point. All in all, I'm a happy camper.

I had my eves done last year and noticed afterwards that two side downspounts were oriented towards my neighbors property and they weren't happy about it. So I contact Tip Top to make the adjustements and re-orient the downspouts towards the front of my lot. This was well done. We are satisfied with the job.

My 50 yr old Lennox furnace died on the coldest day of the year (-22c) and luckily I had insurance to cover the repair but because of the difficulty in finding the parts, it took 3 painfully cold days and nights before it was repaired. So that was a wake up call for me to replace my trusty old but dreadfully inefficient furnace and ac. I called a few places for quotes and researched each of them thoroughly. I knew that the quality of the installation was just as, if not, more important than the product itself. So I decided to go with Cozy World based on the reviews on this site and also why I am returning the favor and leaving my review for others. My furnace and ac were replaced on April 26. The quality of the installation is amazing. I was hoping my finished job would look as good as the ones in their videos and it does, actually even better. Thanks Cozy World
