First time buyer in Calgary

I would not recommend building with Morrison. They were fantastic during the building process but once I took possession, everything changed. It has been over a year and am still waiting for things to get fixed. Had feces in my sink after one trades day. Have constantly been in disagreements with the manager and workers. If I could go back in time, I would not build with Morrison.

Huntwood installed the cabinets in my new home. Three of the doors were visably different than the rest. Huntwood sent three different managers to my home to convince me that they were the same and were unwilling to change or replace the doors. Extremely disappointed in their product and customer service.

Have had this system for a year, had no problems. Always feel safe at home and when away. A little more expensive than other security systems but worth it 100%.

The staff have treated me with complete respect. They came to assess my property and gave me a solid explanation of potential areas of break in and the best way to prevent such from happening, and to ensure my safety if anything were to happen. I feel completely safe with this system. The only downside is that liberty is slightly more expensive then other security systems out there.

Thermostat broke in my new home, with temperatures of 37 in the house. Reception was helpful at getting someone to come out, after convincing her that I would not be ok waiting till the following day. The tech who came out was rude and treated me like a child, and did not come prepared with the supplies to fix the issue, despite coming out on after hours wage. This was a horrible experience and in the future I will use a different company, even if that means spending more money.

Throughout the process of building my home the staff were incredible, I was over the moon about my experience and didn't understand all the horror stories of builders. But all this changed once I received my keys. It became a challenge to contact anyone, or receive responses. The list of items to be fixed created on my walk through all still remain to be fixed, minus one item, within the 4 months that I have had my house. I had an electrical issue one evening and contacted the warranty ladies and they told me they called the company who would come fix the problem but the shop was closed for the night and I would have to wait until the morning, I called the company myself that evening and someone answered right away, the information I received from the warranty ladies was not true. I could go on, but overall I would not recommend Morrison to anyone. Once they got my money, I was no longer on anyone's radar.
