NEW UPDATE: They told homestars that I was not a customer Nice ethics Meridian. Next they called me to ask that I give up all my rights to post on homestars anything about them in the future if they sent me a new molding and some touchup paint. That still leaves a list of defects that they haven't done anything about. The question was worded yes or no not inclusive of any other work that needed to be done. Meridian windows installed 22 windows and 2 doors. The work done was sloppy and careless. Their response to me was it was good enough for them and that this was rough construction. They have done little to address my concerns of the outstanding items from the initial install. Their repair/warranty person came several times but nothing has been fixed or completed. They even said their installers would not come back as they felt they did a good job. Well if you like sloppy work they are your company. Basement window drainage is non existent. They buried a plastic pipe in the ground and called it acceptable. it is full of dirt so basically it does nothing. The front door outdoor molding has been drilled exposing the material below and again they say that is good enough. Front window casing over arched window installed but the joints don't match up. Again good enough for them. I have been ignored repeatedly for requests to fix these issues. I would stay away from these guys as they lack the skills to do a professional job.

This review has been updated to be fair to Meridian, pending further service work. We had Meridian windows replace all our windows and 2 doors. The installation went okay with some damage to the stucco. However that where things went bad. The installers either don't care or are not trained proficiently enough to perform finishing work. The caulking is a mess and at this point they have agreed to fix some of the caulking but that still leave a lot more that should be replaced. The window they cut in the basement was not finished correctly nor did it meet code for egress, apparently they didn't receive all of the paper work from the sales person so I am waiting for a response from Meridian. They were the ones that were to determine the size and type of the window. The window well drain they installed is just full of dirt. They tried 2 times to fix it and all they did was hide this problem. They have agreed to check it one more time. The interior window frames have deep cuts in them and now say they will fix them on the next visit. I will update this once they have completed their next visit.
