Last fall our Spruce Tree was not as healthy as before, needles kept falling. We called Shady Lane and a Certified Arborist came and advised some kind of flies ate all new needles. He said fertilize treatment was required and insect control should be done in next spring. This year the flies did show up again so we called Shady Lane to follow up. More than 10 days, still no technician called back. I called many times to talk to the staff in the office and finally I told them I was uncertain if insect spray was permitted by law, I think the application should be cancelled. Unexpectedly, the technician showed up more than 1 week later and applied the spray to the Spruce and plants around the tree. He told me it was only "Soap", not harmful at all. The next day some of my plants show distress, leaves dried out and one evergreen turn brown. I called Shady Lane and left message. No one called back. I don't think this is good customer service.
