When I had to briefly turn off our house water supply to check for a faulty shower faucet, upon turning the stop valve on again it started substantially leaking. Within half an hour of speaking with Tom at Leaside, he sent Rick Phillips who immediately assessed the situation, arranged for the city to close off our water service in order to make repairs and gave us a lot of additional advice on preventative maintenance on other plumbing issues in the house that we needed to look after. Extremely thorough, excellent communication, an old school professional in the best sense worth his weight in gold.

Our backyard had a large Mt. Ash that was dying as well as a neighbouring Manitoba Maple that was encroaching over our property in an unsafe way. Access to our narrow yard was very limited but Jamie and crew managed to get the job done safely, in a timely manner with minimal damage to the garden. From Meagan in the office to Jamie and his crew, everyone was unfailingly professional and friendly to work with. I would definitely use Goodwood again in the future without hesitation.

When our 20 year old Kenmore dryer stopped drying properly Khan quickly identified the problem as a failed thermostat and replaced it so that everything was back in working order. We have used his services before and he always does a great job, is unfailingly polite, efficient and dependable. He is our go to appliance repair person - highly recommended!

I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Otto's Masonary. From start to finish Otto and his crew worked at the highest skill level, did everything they said they would do on time, and took utmost care when opening up the wall in our basement for a patio door. The people and the work they do are excellent in every respect and I couldn't be happier with the results.

Our air conditioner wasn't functioning properly and I called Max who arrived promptly and give us a range of options. In the end we replaced the unit as it was 20 years old. Max recommended a suitable replacement, showed up when he said he would, replaced the old unit with the new one within the estimated time, left the work site clean and neat and was always courteous, helpful and professional as was his assistant. I've already recommended him to a friend who was also very happy with his work. I wouldn't hesitate to use Max again.

Dan Scott and his roofing crew did an excellent job in replacing our and our adjoining neighbour's flat roof. Top marks for quality of work, materials, clean-up and courtesy. You have to be really good to maintain a family business like this across generations and they are!
