Vahn was extremely knowledgeable when he did inspection on our townhouse in Markham. He was punctual and brought extensive equipments to assist with the inspection as well. We paid extra for the thermal imaging and thought it was well worth it. The final report that was sent to us within 24 hours was thorough and had pictures that we used on our Tarion report. Overall, choosing Solex was a no brainer for us and would do it again for our 1 year inspection!

Thanks for the great feedback Chung. Yes, the thermal scan can add value and more insight into a home. For a camera that cost about $10k, it's definitely great value to have the thermal scan done in addition to a home inspection.

We bought a new home in Markham in Apr 2014 and builder included appliances at Coast appliances. We were told to call and make an appointment with our voucher but was told we are too early because our closing date is in Apr 2015. We were never given the option to get custom appliances (cook-top, 36' range etc). We called again in Oct 2014, they said we are still too early. Called again in Dec, too early. This went on almost every 2 months until March 2015 when the rep finally told us we can set up an appt. When we got there, she said there are new appliances coming in and there should be no problem getting it on time before our closing date but we have to wait until Apr to go in again so we can get the latest pricing. We listened to her and called back in Apr. The earliest appointment was Apr 25 and our closing date is Apr 30th. Of course, our appliances was not ready as she had promised. We moved in and lived without a fridge, stove, laundry. Two weeks later, the laundry, gas stove and fridge came. However, they did not send enough delivery guys to bring the fridge to our 2nd floor kitchen. The fridge was left on the foyer until the next day when the delivery guys came back to move it upstairs. We called for laundry installation and the guy never called back. He finally gave us a date but without a time. He said he would call to confirm but never did until I called the day of. He then told us to send someone home RIGHT AWAY because he is in the area. At this point, it is already May 27th. We lived without a fridge, stove for 2 weeks, without laundry for almost a month and still without a dishwasher because it is back ordered and the rep never gave us an update on the status. Over all, this whole appliances experience has been terrible and I hope no one ever has to deal with these people again. They should not even be in business in the first place.
