I was in search of a home inspector on a very tight timeline for a home in Thornhill, and after reviewing some preliminary reviews on Homestars for some top rated inspection co's, I decided to try Solex. The high ratings are indeed justified...Vahn was prompt in both returning my calls to schedule the inspection with short notice, and in arriving for the appointment on the agreed upon date/time (he actually arrived early and was waiting for me when I showed up). Vahn was thorough, and took time to explain his interim findings after each stage of the inspection. His final report via email was sent promptly as well (next day), which included a report that checked for any recalls that may have been issued with respect to the appliances in the home. The inspection report itself was provided in electronic (pdf) format, which I found extremely helpful when quickly searching for specific information (e.g. when my insurance provider was asking about certain things about the home's systems/plumbing when i was getting an insurance quote over the phone).
