It started with a mouse in the 1st floor of the house, and a second sighting on the 2nd floor. No evidence of mice had been seen in the house since it was renovated 6 years ago. We were worried there was a bigger problem. Joe came - he was great, calm and tracked how he thought the mice might be getting into the house. He said there was no infestation. We caulked off areas by the back entrance, he put some screen around the lower parameters of the back porch. Feeding stations were placed around the house on the various floors. A follow-up visit by Joe indicated they had not been touched - so tape and different types of traps were placed around the kitchen area. One mouse was caught and Miguel chased another one outside from the 1st floor. That was it! No further evidence - the entry points were sealed and problem resolved. Joe came to do a final check and there was no new evidence. He was exceedingly helpful and knowledgeable. Joe also took care of a growing wasp nest in the gable of the garage. Thank you Joe! Aida and her team did a great job. They cleaned approximately 4500 sq. ft. which consisted of 3 units. They arrived on time and worked steadily until the job was done in early evening. They cleaned the old brass door knobs, tiles, windows, staircases, etc. Good job! Thank you.

Interior plaster work on 1920s house, back and front staircase, 3 bedrooms, living room and dining room, 6 radiators, as well as the ceiling of the 3rd floor attic and exterior painting of the front and side of the house which as two front balconies. It is a large house. The back staircase had not been renovated since the 1940s, so it was in a bad state. Moreover, when they went to paint one of the exterior bays, they discovered rotten wood which had been held together by painters masking tape. This was all removed, new wood cut, added and sealed. The attic needed a lot of work and given the irregularity of the ceiling crown molding was added. Derek and his crew did an excellent job. They arrived punctually every day, as promised. Luigi constantly visited to ensure everything was okay. Good job!

We feel so fortunate to have found a handyman who can do precise and detailed work. His wood working skills are excellent. In addition to building and replicating part of an old railing, he refinished an old oak door, added some crown moulding at the top of the library bookcases, did exterior concrete and caulking work, sealed off exterior gaps around the perimeter of the house, built a rad cover for the bathroom and some other items for us. His fees are reasonable. He is punctual, considerate, thoughtful and exceedingly helpful. It wasn't easy to do these task midst a house full of painters and plasters. We have recommended him to other family members. He is busy - so you need to plan ahead.

We arranged to have our large yellow brick duplex home built in 1926 with three porches and the front our our brick garage cleaned. Bill and his crew did a great job. They arrived on time as agreed and cleaned up everyday. It took two days. In addition to the cleaning Bill did the tuck work on the exterior, lower parts of the house, filling in gaps and cracks. We are grate for a job well done - it wasn't easy as this house had never been cleaned. Thank you.

Aida did a good job, responsive and reliable. I have used her twice now and intend to use her again. She is thorough, on time and keeps her word. She cleaned windows, behind appliances, inside and out of all cupboards. She also brings all her own supplies.

We have been very pleased with the finished job by Mike and his crew - they were terrific! Good workmanship, knowledgeable advice and easy to get along with. Everything according to code and safety regulations. We couldn't be more pleased. They built a basement apartment from scratch with the following: laundry facilities, kitchen, bath, bedroom, study, living-room area and entrance hall. They did the plumbing, wiring, tiling, sound-proofing the apartment, insulation, and installed bathroom, kitchen, heating, air-conditioning, lights and much more. Great job! We highly recommend them.

Thank you everyone, you did a fantastic job, on time, superb workmanship. We have been renovating an old house, kept the original plastered walls, but they needed a lot of work and kept some of the old wallpaper which was skimmed (?), anyway covered with plaster. Superb job and we highly recommend this company if you want a great job - it costs, but well worth it.

Steve and his partner responded quickly to my enquiry and arrived as scheduled. Steve was not only knowledgeable about the kind of trees we had but also advised us on what to watch out for, given some leaking sap in the mulberry tree. The trees had not been attended to for some time, so they were in need of trimming over the roof of the house, the garage and the neighbour's house. When done they cleaned up, leaving no mess.

I contacted Brett Davis to restore an 1920's bronze porch lamp which had several coats of paint, damaged parts and was badly eroded. He promptly responded with a reasonable quote after I sent him photos via email. A further examination determined the heavily eroded lamp could be saved. He cleaned, repaired, rewired and made new parts for this vintage work. As you can see the beautifully carved hand holding the torch with the acanthus leaves at the top was beautifully reworked!! Thank you! I highly recommend him to all seeking restoration work. He is an artist, conservationist and very knowledgeable.

Moving is the worst experience, but this crew did a terrific job and with humour. They arrived early, wrapped everything in quilt blankets, taped it and every bit of furniture arrived safely. Not only that they will dis-assemble and assemble when they reach your destination, placing each item where you request it. Terrific job - highly recommended.

I would highly recommend Martel and her crew, they are efficient, considerate and thorough. The ladies who came to clean up after the renovations did a terrific job. If you need someone, don't hesitate - take our word, they will do a great job.

This company was efficient, economical and professional from beginning to end. Scott made all the original arrangements and got back to me immediately. After the agreement was made, the crew came on the weekend, completing a big rush job in 3 days. The old floors in this historical house now look beautiful - much preferred over new floors with no history. I recommend this crew to anyone considering restoring old floors. They refinished our steps, foyer, living and dining rooms and bedrooms. Great job! Harriet and Miguel.

We highly recommend Emerald movers: they were careful with all items, wrapped everything in quilted blankets, were courteous, pleasant and worked steady through the day. We had a lot of things of move, so it took more than the 6 hours minimum required for a 2-bedroom condo. One of the movers wrapped while two moved and packed the items into the 24 ft. van. They are a little more expensive than other movers, but not much and well worth the extra dollars. They also move on Saturdays, not all companies will do this. We are planning to use them again.
