I needed to replace my 25 year old Mitsubishi Ductless AC and contacted 3 companies. All the quotes were similar is value however the proposed approach to the work was completely different. It was a complicated project to remove the old compressor located on a 2nd floor roof with limited access and relocate the new exterior compressor ,hoses and electrical to a different location for more convenient maintenance access. I confirmed the job with Air Point Heating and Cooling after Michael and Gregory did a thorough review and then contacted the installation crew to come to the house and do their assessment. They assured me that they could accomplish the job safely and efficiently. Michael was also available to answer any other questions that came up before the scheduled date. The crew lead by Vadym and Edgar arrived on time. They were professional, courteous and respectful of my neighbours' and my property. The job was completed to my expectations. I am impressed with and appreciate the problem solving attitude that Air Point brought to the job. I will continue to recommend their service.

I contacted Professional Roofers after reading their reviews and noticing their crews working in my neighbourhood. Adam's (the estimator) assessment determined the initial scope of work from the aerial photos taken by a drone. Once the crew was working on the roof, Fernando (quality control manager) was quick to advise me of an issue with the pointing on the chimney. It meant that they would need to return to redo the flashing around the base of the chimney after the masonry was dealt with. Also, in replacing the roof vents, the lack of attic insulation was revealed. This was unexpected, but Fernando provided a detailed explanation of what they could do to address the deficiency. I felt confident that his reasonable quote for this service would be money well spent. All this was quickly scheduled and completed without delay. This company is prompt, professional and courteous. I am impressed with their easy communication and follow up.

I contacted Peter on Friday and he was able to diagnose and schedule my gas oven repair repair for Monday afternoon. Prompt and efficient. His quote was very reasonable. I appreciate that his experience in rebuilding appliances informed his approach to repairing my 30yr+ stove. I will recommend Peter/Modern Appliance to anyone looking for these services.

The project included exterior waterproofing 2 walls on my foundation and attaching a back flow valve in the basement. The work proved challenging on this 120 year old house but Rino and Barry and his team kept me informed of the issues and offered straight forward solutions. The on site work was professional and respectful of the rest of the yard and garden. Although the work took longer than expected to begin, it was well worth the wait to have Watertite do the job. For unexpected reasons the back flow valve could not be installed at this time but I will be contacting Rino again in the near future to complete the job.

On Sept 30th I contacted Air Max for my annual boiler maintenance service for the first time. Max provided prompt (next day) and thorough service. I was impressed with his knowledge and appreciated his recommendations . The cost of the service was appropriate.
