Hossein and his team did an amazing job installing 13 potlights in our living room. They showed up exactly on time and covered our entire living room. Hossein walked us through the process and answered all of our questions. The wiring was done in a flash and the job was completed within a couple of hours. His team even went out of his way to fix a broken light fixture in our bedroom. They swept and vacuumed everything and left the living room without a trace that they ever there. We will definitely be using Hossein for future lighting jobs.

Having read great reviews, I emailed Man With a Wrench, received a response in less than an hour from Oleg with technician availability - which was next day. Josh came in the next day and completely dismantled our dryer (pretty interesting to see the "inside" of a dryer!) and figured out that the issue was with the motor. He was able to provide a quote for a repair, which even he agreed, that it would be better just to buy a new dryer. Then he went above an beyond and gave us very useful tips on what brands to look for when purchasing and although we have a gas connection, he tested the electrical plug for the dryer in our laundry room (which worked) to confirm that we could purchase either a gas or electric dryer. Then he took a look at our basement, for where we're looking to install another stack washer/dryer, and gave us some tips on what we would need to have it installed. Amazing service for a very reasonable service fee! Although we won't be following through with this repair, I wouldn't hesitate to call this company for any future appliance repairs.

Back when I owned my first condo in 2010, I called Mr. Rooter repair a leaking toilet. The workmanship and professionalism is next to none. One of the best decisions I've made was to sign up for their Advantage Program which gives you priority scheduling and pricing. Now, in my new home, I've used Mr. Rooter to replace, yet another, leaking toilet. Most recently, my tap in the backyard was leaking and I had someone from Mr. Rooter come check it out. They diagnosed the problem, which was much bigger than I imagine. We decided to save the work required for another day but the plumber, Rick, was amazing. He did a walk-through of the entire home and gave pointers for things to look out for. It was like a free apprenticeship session! The next day, I received a call from Mr. Rooter to let me know that the trip charge for Rick's visit would be refunded because I was an Advantage member. I honestly wouldn't have cared either way but I thought it was really awesome that Mr. Rooter caught this. What I like the most is that the fee structures are all outlined so there's no haggling involved. My last toilet that was replaced, I ended up getting a free upgrade to higher end toilet because the one I selected was not in stock. Just as a sidebar to that, I've gone with Toto brand toilets through Mr. Rooter and have not been disappointed yet! Needless to say that Mr. Rooter are my plumbers for life and have not let me down in 6 years.

As luck would have it, our two fireplaces in the home gave out this year; one in our living room and one in the basement. Our main concern was the stove fireplace in the basement because this is the only heat source down there that kept our pipes from freezing. After speaking with Nigel, he suggested that one of the owners, Joe, come and diagnose the best solution. We were thinking of alternatives heating sources for our basement instead of replacing the fireplace. Joe gave us loads of options. In the end we decided to replace our basement fireplace and repair our main floor fireplace. On the day before install, I got a call that the parts for the new fireplace weren't fully delivered. I was a bit put off because they couldn't confirm when the parts would be in. I called Joe, who put me at ease. Sure enough, the parts came in a couple of days later and we scheduled a new install day. The boys were in as scheduled at 9am and had the fireplace installed in no time. The technician who was servicing our main fireplace wasn't able to fix it. Instead of charging me the full cost for fixing the fireplace ($250) I was only charged a service fee ($129). The technician was really helpful in explaining why it would be a better option to replace that main fireplace. This wasn't about cashing in our situation, but instead making sure we spent our money wisely. We held off on replacing that fireplace but will definitely call Button's for when we do decide to replace it. A few days after the basement fireplace install, I noticed a dark spot building up on the glass. I called Joe who then scheduled a technician to come check it out. It turned out to just be soot build up - common on new installs. The technician cleaned it up and got it all working again. Overall, very happy with my experience. Everyone I dealt with from Button's is genuine in their approach and do their best to build life long relationships. We'll definitely be in touch again. Overall,
