I recently had Gold Seal Caulking to do my entire exterior house. There were two guys who completed the with in about 4 hours. While they were efficient the quality of their work was a bit questionable. Poor workmanship can be noticed through the attached picture.

Water was dripping through my washroom's exhaust fan. I looked in the Internet for help finding a suitable company. I called three companies, none had any live person to respond to my call. So I left a message on each. Two of them returned my calls. The third never did. The Mr. Roof and the Roof Whisperer gave the same quote. But the former couldn't promise to do the work for at least a few days. The Whisperer could do the work the next day. so I booked with them. I'm glad I did. Arthur, owner of the Roof Whisperer, came the next day with his assistant and investigated the leak. It was coming through nails holes on the roof. They sealed the holes around the exhaust and other adjacent area. It has not rained or snowed since the repair so I cannot say how effective has been the repair. But Arthur seems like a nice man with professional outlook. I trust he has done a good job.

I found Mark through a leaflet on 'leaky basement' I got in the flyers. He came over and looked at wet basement wall and right away gave me quote. Then I called two other companies; one gave a quote much higher and other one significantly lower than what Mark had quoted, While I was still contemplating which one to pick, a few days later Mark gave me a follow up call, and that just did it. That showed me his interest in getting the job. Mark completed the work as he had explained and it was done on time and in a professional manner.
