Our furnace and A/C were 30 years old, and starting to give trouble. We took the opportunity to get rid of our water heater rental as well, and move the gas line for our gas fired clothes dryer to a better location. The sales/consultation visit was good -- helpful information, without much sales pressure. We looked over the options, and emailed our decisions back to the sales rep, and set up a date. We did some comparison pricing, and they were competitive. On installation day, 3 technicians showed up. They were busy right till 5:00, but got everything done... except for the dryer relocation. A little communication blip there. They came back on another day to finish that job. That relocation job was more than I expected, because being a gas appliance, they could not just relocate the gas, they had to make sure that the venting was working before signing off on it. I did not realise that was the case, I thought I could do the venting later myself. But they did a great job, and stuck to their original price, which is much appreciated. They also handled the returning of the rental water tank, we just had to call our supplier and get a return number for it. That was a nice touch... removing all of the old stuff, be it scrap (furnace) or return to renter (water heater). I had one follow up visit - a question about the humidifier, where a technician dropped by for 10 minutes to inspect it, and explain why and how it was doing what it did. Gave me reassurance that it was working fine. There will be another visit in the spring when we fire up the A/C for the first time. Overall, I am pleased with the way that they treat their customers, before, during and after installation. I would recommend them to anyone having HVAC work done.
