Work and organization of 3DayReno was horrible from the first day that work started. Constant mistakes were not captured - 1 mistake EVERY DAY. Wrong measurements, wrong hardware, very little communication or call back unless they were asking for a cheque. They subcontract out work, but has not paid the subcontractor, and they have since stopped work. Stay away from 3DayReno, unless you want subcontractors walking out on the job. 3DayReno cannot be reached. The website is shut down. I was told the company no longer exists. Their website is shut down. They don't answer the phone. It seems like they went out of business or left town.

Upon searching, I found 1-800-drywall to be the most responsive company, and was reasonably priced. As I was unsure about the time-frame of delivery needed, they were prompt to follow up based on our initial discussion. In following up, they were never pushy for me to place the order. Delivery price was reasonable compared to other companies, especially some of the big box stores I contacted, and ordering the product was very simple/user friendly. The only suggestion I would have is that the delivery staff should make the initiative to be prepared to cover the floors. We had to pretty much make sure it was done - the guys asked if we had anything to cover the floor (even asked if we had any newspaper). Eventually they found some sort of material in the truck, but I found this to be surprising for a company that must regularly walk through finished homes into unfinished basements. Overall, a good experience, good price, and good communication.

After some debate of whether or not I would tackle the project myself, we decided to hire someone to frame our basement for us, and thankfully we found "Rebuild the Planet" to do all the framing work in our basement. From beginning to end, Leuri was fantastic. After receiving a few quotes, we decided to stick with Leuri for a few reasons. 1. Response time: was amazing - we had received the first response within a day, and responses to any questions via e-mail usually the same day. Other companies would not respond for up to a week or longer - so in my mind, if it takes a week to respond for a job opportunity, how long will it take to respond if a problem arises? Leuri was GREAT at responding to any questions or concerns we had from day 1 to completion. 2. Knowledgeable and helpful: We had provided a floor plan of what we had in mind, and we walked through it together. Throughout the walk around, Leuri provided some advice as to how to improve the design and layout, and pointed out a few details that other trades didn't consider (for example, ways re-route duct work and central vac lines to minimize bulkheads, concerns of a water line that might leak in the future, etc). 3. Flexible and Punctual: Leuri was on time, to the minute, that he said he would be there, and was very flexible with my schedule - even coming to do the layout on a Sunday afternoon! Not only that, but it is obvious that they pay attention to schedule and make it as efficient as possible - Leuri had suggested the work could be done a week ahead of schedule - when was the last time you had someone perform work done EARLIER than originally planned? Post-Work: Over-all very happy with the results - one minor correction was needed, and Leuri came back the next day to solve it. Dimensions are exactly as we had requested, and after a few measurements I took, all the walls appear square, straight, and ready for drywall! The only thing I can say is thank you for the hard work, and prompt service!

First off, what a great experience over-all. Compared to what the guys seem to normally handle, my job seemed like it would be a piece of cake for them, which was to move several stacks and move existing rough ins for a 3 piece washroom. Calling around, they were half the price of competitors and offered the same services - licensed, and with a 25 year warranty on the work. My main contact was Fedor - himself, Alex, and (I am sorry to forget the third name), were all very courteous, professional and punctual. They arrived exactly when they said they would the first day, and Fedor was able to arrive an hour earlier than expected on the second day. It seemed that care was taken to keep non-work areas clean, and although I expected materials to be left over night, Fedor apologized for keeping anything there. As for the job itself, I am not a professional, though I can say that the crew was efficient and had the job done much faster than I had anticipated. Fedor was sure to consult me regarding various issues that came up, and provided alternative solutions to some of our previously discussed plans - this was refreshing considering I have dealt with others who would just make a decision on their own without consultation. Aside from that, everything seemed very straight forward for them, but they stayed late into the evening (close to 8PM) to ensure that all the pipes were connected and we were able to use our water again that evening. We still have further work to be done once our project is further along, but I am confident that everything will go as smoothly as the past couple of days have. Photos to come.

What can I say, other than that I expect to use RBI in the future. My wife and I are renovating the basement for a play space for our two year old and "soon to be". We had some old insulation that needed to be removed. I really like the idea of a "flat fee" bin, which RBI accommodated. Based on other reviews, they seemed to be one of most reliable and affordable when everything considered. Long story short, I called to book a bin and we discussed our requirements and the bin was delivered in a few days, and right on time to when it was expected to arrive. With my tight work schedule, this was very much appreciated. Upon delivery, it was nice to see the driveway protected before the bin was put down, something that I know others don't even consider (unbelievable!). Everything was straight forward and due to an ice storm and uncertainty that we would not still need the bin for another few days, I waited to call for a pick up. I called on EASTER SATURDAY morning to notify RBI that the bin was ready to pick up any time, and it was picked up within the hour. No complaints whatsoever, and I look forward to using RBI in the future!

What can we say about Alon and CanDo? Nothing but positives. In a new development, myself and 11 other homes needed to erect fences and gates and after a few other quotes, we hired CanDo to complete the job and can easily sum up the process. 1. From day 1, Alon's communication and feedback was by far the best we have received. Quote was incredibly detailed and thorough and he was quick to respond to any questions we had. 2. The quote itself was by the far the best value, which is of course why we opted for CanDo to complete the work. 3. The job was finished not only on time, but EARLIER than committed after a request from one of the neighbours to expedite the process - this was done at no extra cost. 4. The work was completed quickly, properly, and looks beautiful, including a custom style gate that we requested! Aside from that, what else is there! Great value, great service, great product.

Where do I begin?? It has been a while since our Kitchen was finished, and wanted to wait to write a review in case we found any surprises. Now that I am sitting here looking around me, I can safely say that my wife and I are very happy with the level of quality and service that Mohammed and his team at Sky Kitchens has to offer. What a great experience being able to design the kitchen in his software and seeing the kitchen materialize before our eyes exactly how we pictured it!! We used Sky Kitchens only for the cabinetry installation, including the panels for our built in appliances and a beautiful custom built hood, however Mohammed was very knowledgeable in helping us to coordinate with our electrician (placement of outlets, etc) and countertop installers. We are extremely particular about the way things are done, and we have to thank Mohammed for his patience, as we did not meet certain deadlines and changed a few things throughout the build. Any small issues were taken care of promptly and we would certainly recommend Sky Kitchens to our friends and family. Best of all - VALUE!! We searched everywhere for the best quality vs price, and be assured that with Sky Kitchens, we found the best value. We found that Sky Kitchens included some things that other kitchen installers were charging a hefty premium. Great Price, Great Work, I can't think of any reason to not choose Sky Kitchens.

What a great experience! We chose Tom and Clearview because of the great reviews on Homestars and we were certainly not disappointed. Tom was prompt to respond, professional and detailed in explanations. We preferred a professional home inspection prior to our 1-year tarion warranty claim and we are glad we did. The use of infrared found improperly installed insulation upstairs, which we would have NEVER caught otherwise! Other things were found that I doubt even the average inspector would have noticed. In addition to all the necessary changes that we should have claimed, Tom gave us excellent advice for basic care of our home. Rest assured that he will be recommended to our family in the future.
