Excellent price and service Like many homeowners in Toronto we have a number of dying ash trees that have to be removed. Our ash trees are at the back of the yard, and very close to live Hydro and Bell lines. The tree removal would require some time, and skill. One of our neighbours had hired the Warriors Tree Service, and they were very happy with the price and work. We asked the owner Dan for a quote, and he came over the following day to patiently answer our questions and he gave us a very reasonable price for the job. The day came to remove the trees, and Dan showed up with about ten workers and all the equipment. His crew is very friendly, and they work hard. They were very careful in trimming the trees, and lifting out the pieces. It looked like a big operation, and they worked safely and with care. At the end of the day they carefully blew and swept everything clean. I was impressed that Dan sent two of his crew over to my neighbour’s yard to clean up some twigs and sawdust that fell from my trees over the property line. I highly recommend the Warriors Tree Service; you will be very pleased with their price and quality of work.

I came home from work and noticed the house was a little cool. I soon realized that the furnace had stopped working. We'd only moved into the house about three months ago, and I wasn't sure who to call. Once again, thank goodness for Homestars. I searched under furnace repair and came up with Convertible Heating and Air Conditioning. It was after 5:00 pm when I phoned their 24-hour line. You have to leave a message. I'm sure that's how most repair places work after regular hours, but when you leave a message you don't know when someone will return your call. The house is getting colder and colder as you wait for someone phone you back. I thought I would give them an hour, and fortunately Convertible phoned back in about 30 minutes. They said a service tech would be over in about two hours. The tech phoned at about 90 minutes and said he was just on another call, but that he would be over as soon as he was finished. Raj the technician came just after 9:00 pm which I thought was pretty quick. He diagnosed the problem in about one minute. He said he would have to obtain a new electric motor the next day, but he did some fiddling and managed to get the furnace running again. It ran for another hour, and managed to warm up the house enough for us to spend the night. Raj had the part the following morning, and we arranged that he show up after I finished work to do the installation. He came over right at the appointed time and had it installed in half an hour. The service charge was very reasonable, and all the work was done as fast as possible. I highly recommend Convertible, and Raj in particular.

This was my first time hiring professional movers, previously I've always managed to get my friends to help me out. We also asked them if some awkward items could be taken as-is, or did we have to pack it carefully - and they were easy and agreeable on everything we asked.
