Contacted Reliance Nov 2023 to cancel. I had paid for the month of November 23. This is paid in advance. Reliance asked for $400 to cancel and remove heater. I asked for the agreement to be produced as their terms and conditions on their website does not state this especially for a water heater 25 years old. They were unable to produce this to my satisfaction. I returned the water heater myself in December 2023 for which I have a receipt, but they continued to bill me for Jan and Feb 2024. When I refused to pay, they contacted collection agencies even though I tried to contact them but they refused to talk to me. Collection agencies are still trying to contact me.
