Everything from start to finish was perfect, and the owner, Jeff, is a friendly guy and pleasant to deal with. He's a true pro. There was no nagging feeling after the three repairs, and I plan on booking with The Great Plumbing Co for future needs. Highly recommended!

Beaver Brothers impressed me right from the beginning, when Anton gave me an estimate on the spot, during the initial visit. The estimate was broken down (cost of the demolition, cost of the fence per linear foot, cost of the gate, etc.) so that you could clearly see how the total cost was calculated, and how the total cost changed when I asked to have the dimensions of the deck changed. I had another "Best of Homestars" company send me an estimate several days after their visit, with no explanation of how they got their price, so the Beaver Brothers' approach was appreciated. Anton also pointed out some limitations about what I initially wanted, saving me money and future problems. The other companies didn't bring up these issues, likely because they just wanted a bigger project. Anyway, that was just the start. The actual demolition of the old deck and fence, and the construction of the new deck and fence both went very smoothly, and Anton, Dimitri, and Nik were all great guys. They were punctual, hard-working, and friendly, and nothing felt rushed. The finished product looks great, and it has made a difference in how I feel about my home in a very positive way. If I need another deck, I would definitely call up Beaver Brothers again.

I contacted Husky for general maintenance of my furnace and a/c, and it went very smoothly, from the phone call to book the appointment to the actual service, which happened the same day. Professional, friendly, and prompt -- hence the 5 stars. One thing I hope Husky would implement is a mobile, secure credit card payment option. It was a pen-and-paper option only for credit cards, so I paid by cheque. Aside from that, perfect.

The whole experience, right from the phone call, went smoothly: - Phone call was answered on the first ring; I called at night and was able to book a 10am-12pm slot for the next day. - Received a confirmation call an hour prior to arrival. - John D. arrived on time in a clean, professional-looking van. Used booties to cover boots upon request. - Price quote was given in writing before the job started; he consulted a binder of prices set by the company, so there's some assurance there. - He estimated an hour for the job, and the job did indeed take an hour. - He cleaned the area under the sink (I think I saw a spray bottle of cleaning product) after the job was complete. - He fixed up the loose kitchen faucet without me asking, even though it wasn't technically responsible for the leaking stop valve. I was particularly grateful because I wasted a full day waiting for a no-show plumber the previous day (NOT Mr. Rooter, but another highly-rated independent guy). I wish I had called Mr. Rooter right from the beginning.
