They did such an outstanding job 3 years ago of putting curbing around the gardens, we had them come back and do a bunch more. The first batch is holding up excellent and the second batch is a near perfect match colour wise. Great service, great work and a fair price. Highly recommend them.

We were so happy with the first work they did about 3 years ago we got them to do a major refurb on the other upstairs full bath. Remove existing tub, flooring, vanity and replace with new walk in shower., sliding glass doors, Tyvarian panels, new flooring, and a new Vanity and counter top, along with replacing all plumbing fixtures with new high end Riobel Faucets, Shower Heads, new fan, new lights etc. The installer was Larry and the helper was Shane. Over a 3 day demolition and install they worked very hard. Larry was the lead on the install and he did a superb job. Pleasant to have around, done on time, and cleaned up real well behind himself every day. The price was reasonable for the amount of work and materials needed. I would definitely use them for the next job.

Got his name through a referral from the fellow doing our landscaping. He was quick to come out and see the project and had a full quote to us the next morning. It worked out very well.

This company did the in floor heating heating and HVAC on the house when it was built and I have used them since for all maintenance. Last big job was replacing the hot water heater that supplies the house and the in floor heat along with the expansion tank. Excellent service levels, experienced staff and fair pricing. What more can you ask for.

Started using this firm when we moved to Edmonton. He has done a number of small, medium and one larger job for us. Always great service, prompt with good follow up. Always cleans up well after himself. Also, he stands firm behind his work and any warranty issues are promptly and completely resolved with no hassles. Definitely recommend him for any work you need done.

Jan 26, 2020 This is the KitchenAide warranty and recommended repair company. After reading so many negative Google reviews and a couple of negative ones on here I have to say I was pretty spooked and apprehensive about using them. Talked to their office, it was three days to get a technician to come have a look due to it being -35 and they were busy as all get out. Angela was very friendly and helpful. On the Friday, Jan 24th, that they were to come out she gave me a 2 hour window and the Tech showed up exactly when I expected. It did not take him long to diagnose the problem. There were some significant parts needed, board, compressor, full evaporator unit, so he need to check with the company to see if these parts were even available. By Monday it was clear they could not get the parts needed to repair the fridge so they submitted the warranty claim to the company for me. Whirlpool/KitchenAide now has the file and are dealing expeditiously with it. The service call out fee of $100 is exactly what I was expecting and they only charged me for about 30 minutes so about $150 total.. Long way of saying I was VERY impressed with how I was treated by the office, and how good the service tech, Dong, was. He was polite, knowledgeable and quick and had the warranty claim processed for us. All in I would use Aptco again without hesitation.

May 2019 - Driveway finally finished settling so I has the guys come back and pave it plus do some additional paving out back. Excellent job, perfect clean up, done on time and at a very fair price. Even threw in a couple of extras over and above the quoted work. Great, honest guys to deal with. Highly recommend them for small or large jobs. They have the equipment to do everything from small residential to paving a whole road or large parking lot.

We saw some of the work Quality Curbing does at our nephew’s place. Really liked the look and style that this gives to the garden borders, plus it makes cutting the grass much easier and dramatically reduces the trimming needed. We asked Tyler to give us a quote on doing our yard last fall. Well the weather didn’t cooperate at all so we ended up doing it this spring. They were very willing to hold the quoted price and schedule the work for May, 2019. The guys showed up and in one day, removed 500’ of sod, 500’ of existing edging and laid just over 400’ of curbing. They were here at 08:00 and done by 15:00. The work is excellent and the crew was very helpful, polite, extremely friendly and professional. They did a great job cleaning up after themselves. Our nephew and 4 other family members have now had Quality Curbing do this work in their yards. All of us are extremely pleased with the outcome. Tyler does a superior job at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend their service to anyone who is tired of dealing with the regular plastic border or paving stone garden edging.

We had Blind Magic, we dealt with their west Edmonton location, source and install two Hunter Douglas Powered Blinds and a manual one. This was a long and drawn out process over almost 2 years because the design for the room they were in kept changing. Throughout the long process our Showroom consultant, was absolutely exceptional to work with. Whether by phone, in person or by email she was responsive, friendly and helpful. She really listened to our needs and is very knowledgeable so offered quality suggestions and solutions. The other companies we tried talking to were not even in the same ballpark. On top of great advice, the install was also great to deal with. He did the initial detailed measurements, ordered exactly the setup we wanted and did a great job of installing the new powered blinds. He was cheerful, friendly and willing to do anything he could to help. He also did a nice neat install, cleaned up perfectly and did it quickly. I would definitely recommend Blind Magic and we will use the again.

We did quite a bit of shopping around to find someone to remove an existing air jet tub and replace it with a Whirlpool jet ( water jet). What made us decide on Edmonton Bath was fair pricing and the fact they make the cultured one piece Marble and Granite tub decks, shower surrounds etc themselves. They also passed all the reference checks, reviews on line, WCB clearance letter, BBB check etc and it surprised me that only about half of the companies I checked out could pass all those validation steps. Also, they had a huge selection of style, colors and products, none of which we could find anywhere else. all the others were basically some sort of tile solution. They did an excellent and clean job of removing the existing tub without doing any damage to the surrounding tiles, heated floor or anything else. They templated the area for the new surround and made it up in their shop. Final install is complete, I think they did a great job. Looks great. quiet, works well and they cleaned up well after themselves. All that is left is to install the border surrounds which are being poured this week for placement next week, April 2019.

Had my front step and driveway done June 2017. Very competitive quote and I got accurate qualify info from Chris. Chris is actually there when they do the work and knows his stuff. His guys did a great job and cleaned up real well too. They have been in the business for almost 30 years, and very few other companies have been in it more than 4 or 5. Most of the others use a salesman who isn't doing the actual work and just tell u what u want to hear or what will get them the sale. The foam jack guys were the worst for fabricating what you want to hear. Lucky enough I knew just enough about mudjacking to be able to tell quality recommendations and advice from the rest.. Projack also gives you a 2 year guarantee on their work so if the area settles or there is any other issue they will come back and fix it.

We have a very large deck, part covered part not with and irregular shape and three large stone pillars. The deck is only 7 years old but because the builder did not vent under the deck properly the plywood sheeting rotted out. Bob had his crew, Chris, John and Nathan remove the railings, which were sent out to be re-powder coated, strip all of the old plywood, replace 4 of the 2" x 12" stringers, box in under the pillars properly and tie them to the engineered beam and pilings, cut 8 - 21"x 8" vents and an access door, and then replace the covering with new Duradeck. They managed to do all of this work in 3 pretty long days. I watched the work they did and it is a FAR superior install to the one I had done in Calgary by the Duradeck agent there 7 years ago. Bob' crew sanded all of the plywood, seams and screw lines, then used a filler compound to fill all of the seams and screw heads. They then did a great job of laying out the membrane and matching it to the three pillars as well as the whole length of the joint on the house. They were quick, clean good at what they do and a pleasure to deal with.

Had two other companies look at the air conditioner and they could not figure out the problem. These guys got it right the first time and were quick to get the parts in and fix the problems. Gary and Cole are both great to deal with. They really try to accommodate your schedule and are great on emergency call outs. There is $142 dispatch fee but it also covers a 1/2 hour of work time.

Roman came out and did the estimate on installing a high lift door, and 2 new openers the same day I called him. Work was scheduled for the first business day following the Canada day long weekend. He was there when he was supposed to be and even though he was short one man he got the work done in one day. It took him 11 hours working on his own but he stuck it out and got it done. The price came out at exactly what he quoted $1690, plus tax. I chose these guys out of three quotes, one higher by $100, one lower by $150 because of the detail in the quote and some additional upgrades to rollers and springs that Roman discussed that the other two had not. Work was very well done, cleaned up well behind himself and good attention to detail. Would definitely use these guys again.

Sept 2015 Update After a full summer I can say I am overall very happy with the condition of the lawn, the lack of weeds and the responsiveness of the company. The striping did even out after the second application and the lawn is now a consistent lush green. They have been very good to work with, they have easily accomodated changes to the scheduled applications so I could ensure I was around to water in the fertilizer etc. The grass stayed nice and green all summer and it is far more weed free than it ever hads bee, Pretty good deal for 1.2 acre versus the price. Will probably use them again ext year. Signed up for the "Guaranteed" 5 applications of weed and fertilzer over the summer. So far pretty happy with the results. First application did a great jog of knocking down the weeds. The fertilizer has helped green up the lawn but here are some very dark green and light green striping. There is also one small burn spot that is going to need overseeding. I am presuming the second application of fertilizer will even up the grass colour a lot. Will report back on later results.

Had them do the aeration, sethatch etc again this spring. Price is still at $200. They now do fertilizer application in spring and regular lawn maintenance over the summer. Did a great job as usual, including cleaning out the window wells, leaves out of the rock garden and cleaning out the bushy areas. They use quality equipment, a large crew that are moving it and were in and out in 1.5 hours doing a 1/2 acre lot. Grass looks top notch and after a couple of waterings it is already starting to green nicely.

The house we bought had an existing high end Honeywell hard wired system that was installed when the house was built. The previous homeowner had ADT do the install and monitor for about 5 years. Despite there being no equipment needed or cost to ADT they insisted on a 3 year NO CANCEL contract and told me I wouldn't find anyone else who wouldn't be the same. They were as usual wrong. Based on the ratings on here I contacted some other choices, including JTL. Dolby was here to consult the same day I called him, I had waited over a week for the ADT rep, and Dolby was a pleasure to deal with. He easily provided quality recommendations for some additional sensors to provide enhanced coverage, that did not add any costs to the monitoring fee, and was easily able to fully test the existing system, add the new sensors and fire up the system. I have had many other service providers in a wide variety of locations over the years and all were national chains. Invariably they delivered mediocre service and relatively slow responses to alarms. This is my first dealings with a local supplier with a local monitoring station. We shall see if the on going service is as outstanding as the initial contacts and set up were, but I am betting they will be.

Had Dave do the Clean out and service of our septic system, that is attached to a rural municipal sewer system. They did a good thorough job, on time. It was badly needed as the original home owner had not had the system serviced in 5 years. At $700, discounted to $525 the cost was pretty high but the job is thorough so felt it was worth the cost. Only negative comment is they REALLY push their monitoring service and at over $20 a month that is pretty steep for something Vericom charges them $12 a year per household for. May still use it but looking for other options too.

I had a number of quotes for this work, all were in about the same range but these guys were the highest by about 20%. I picked them despite the higher price as Darwin and Ron came across as very professional. Despite having given them a 30% deposit to hold a spot for the work to get done, they were still more than 4 weeks late getting the job done. Considering it was less than a day and half total work you would think it would be a bit easier to schedule. They did good work but when I received the final bill they had tacked on an extra $1,000. Considering the verbal quote went from 3.500 to 4,500 and then the written quote came in at $5,600 I think there has been enough price escalation on a fairly simple job. I would have used them next spring for an even bigger project but given their billing practices I am going to go looking for someone else.

This company wasn't the very lowest bid but was competitive. Had bids as high as $7,000 to do the same work which was to add a 4" lift to an existing pad to re-pave the floor of a 22x24 garage. Work was done on time, quickly, cleanly and very well finished. Guys were a pleasure to deal with and very professional. I will use them in the spring to pave a new driveway I am installing. One word of caution, there are a lot of not so honest people in this business, I talked to a few when I was getting quotes. Be very wary of anyone who asks for a deposit up front. These guys I paid when the work was done and they were willing to invoice me and wait for payment on thirty days terms.

Advertises in the St Albert Gazette. Used them the first time last year. Excellent quality work in a short period of time. Removed all grass and other sweepings, unlike previous companies who left bags of stuff we had to dispose off. Have them booked to do the lawn again this spring. They don't do sprays and fertilizer but they do regular lawn cutting as well as snow removal.

Just moved to Edmonton so have not built up my list of got to guys yet. First time I used Kent it was to come and check out our air conditioner as it was freezing up. Picked him based on his ratings here and how he responded on the phone. Came on short notice. Did a general check up, all was good. Added some refrigerant and it works fine. Total cost $100, including travel, work and materials. When he finished the AC fix my wife asked him to provide a quote for a top end whole house air purifier to go on the furnace. She got a couple of other quotes at the same time. Only bad, had to phone and remind him to provide price. He is so busy I think he forgot. Did it right away after reminder. Got his quote, he was competitive with a guy we had never used and 400 less than Weiss Plumbing (Weiss quotes a Trane and Kent was quoting American Standard which by most ratings is the better filter). Since I was happy with his first work we used Kent. His daughter is out of university and working with him over the summer. Kent, his daughter and another fellow did the install. All in about 3 hours, nice neat install, complete perfect clean up when done and they hauled away all the removed or left over bits. Kent provides professional and quality service on time and at a reasonable price. This company will be my go to heating and air guys while we live here.

Over priced by a long ways. Charged out 2,000 dollars for a $700 job, assuming the output had been high quality. What we got instead was, poor quality of work, his report was incomplete, contained inaccuracies and missed some key points. Very unpleasant fellow to try and have a constructive discussion with. Basically his way or the highway. Does not take input at all.

Lousy service, place is messy. When I complained to the duty manager he said service was much better now than 3 months ago. Told him I could not imagine service worse than this. Also told him that this was not any where near Home Depot standards. He could basically have cared less. Service attitude in a store really does come from the top.

Good service, friendly knowledgeable staff, clean isles. Have shopped here many times in the 6 months since moving here. Much better than the Home Depot on 137 and 127 St.which has very poor service and when I talked to the duty manager he could have basically cared less. Interesting the difference in service even among chains.
