Just a warning about the A Team Appliance Repair/ Appliance Repair Team - they came to my place yesterday to repair my fridge. They said there was an $80 service fee and then that would be deducted from any labour costs to repair. I had to work so my father met them at my house. The technician told my father it was an issue with the computer system and that the repair would cost $375 and that he had to pay upfront. So he did. Then the tech opened the back of the fridge, said that the issue wasnt the computer but the compressor and sealed system, which would be $1800. So nothing was done to repair my fridge and Im out $375. When I called the company to complain they said the $375 is a diagnostic fee and would not be refunded.
