WARNING! DO NOT USE Hassan or his companies! (See the 1 star reviews from all links associated with Green Heating and/& Air Inc. These are all about Hassan!)   He initially appears competent and solution-oriented, but our experience turned sour after paying our deposit.   We first contacted Hassan for a project that involved duct design, installation, and equipment, aiming to qualify for the Greener Homes grant. Lacking the upfront $30,000, we requested a payment plan, which was verbally agreed. Subsequently, we decided to focus solely on ductwork while researching equipment options. Despite this change, the price for duct installation remained the same at $9,000. We paid our deposit, but no formal contract or written agreement was provided, making pricing details unclear.   The work began on a Monday. On the same day we were also told that the payment schedule was not possible. We were also told it was never discussed (untrue). This left us questioning getting the machines from Hassan. The pressure to buy became relentless over the next few days, with Hassans brother, Ali, even suggesting we promise our government rebate to Hassan in exchange for partial payment of the machines.   By the fourth day of installation, we were very uneasy. The quality of the work was subpar, resulting in damage to our home, and the pressure to commit to more money with them was too much. We informed them of our uncertainty about the equipment purchase, and the same day the installers said they wouldnt be back until we paid a deposit for the machines!   In the second week, they did not come at all. There were some plumbing and gas lines we needed to move for their installation.     The new expected project completion date was September 1st, but they had begun installing ductwork that extended beyond our wall. This meant additional construction into our front window area, which was contrary to what we were told. They left without completing other parts of the project that they could have finished.   In the fourth week, Hassan returned from a three-week-long holiday. During our discussion, he showed a complete lack of accountability for the shoddy workmanship of his employees. This included sloppy cuts in our flooring, significant damage to our home, and a general disregard for maintaining a clean/safe work environment. It was even necessary for us to request that they tape the seams of the ducts, as they had no plans to do so; later warning us that taping the ducts would result in excess noise.   They deviated from the original duct design, failing to inform us that this change violated fire code regulations something we had explicitly communicated as a requirement. This alteration meant the addition of fire dampers, which Hassan quoted at an exorbitant $550 per damper, despite the actual cost being $50 from a reputable supplier.   AVOID HASSAN and all associated companies! The lack of professionalism, competence, accountability, and integrity displayed throughout this project was profoundly concerning. Do your research and do not use!

Roped in when we bought the house. I called to let them know we were the new owner and then received a new account bill for $35 for the 3 minute conversation. Was not told this when I called. The hot water tank was VERY OLD and out of date. Did not work well - only enough hot water for one person to shower. We were offered upgrades (obviously), but wanted to shop around first. When it came to cancelling, the customer service was very poor, and it felt like the horror stories people tell about trying to cancel the gym. They kept trying to up sell us and convince us that renting was the best option obviously this is true for them because you end up paying over 3x the price of the unit when you rent! When I called to arrange cancellation I was told I would get a call back, but no one called. When I called to confirm cancellation we were told we would have to pay $125 for the removal or we could drop it off for free. Just an 1 and a half of my time and gas! Then when I got to the warehouse to drop it off the unit they didnt have my name registered to the unit, despite paying an account set up fee and getting monthly bills! Now I need to call them back again to ensure that they have received confirmation of the unit return and cancelling my account! What a headache! You would think with the rental fee, which they advertise as headache free that all of these other things would have been included! Especially considering we all know they made more than enough money from the lifetime of this unit!! Very dodgey! Reading other reviews shows that this is common practice for those of us that inherit these machines from previous home owners which really just shows their ethical standards as a company. They only care about customers coming in and everything drops off once you leave and they try to squeeze more money from you. Stay away and go to someone else!
