Contacted Linda in the morning, described the issue, the error code and she knew exactly what part I needed to fix the problem. After picking up the part in the afternoon, Steve and Linda arrived to perform the work. They are a great team and work very well together. Like many other reviews I was provided with tips for all of my appliances to help maintain them. I felt they go above and beyond to provide top notch service to their customers. I will use them again.

I hired Complete Home Construction to install cedar planks under my Sunroom ceiling. Giancarlo with his expertise planned out the project and said he was looking forward to my experiencing Dhonny’s workmanship. I can now understand why he would put it that way. Both Dhonny and his partner work very well together, a great team. They were well equipped with the necessary tools and the knowledge to make it right. The attention to detail exceeded my expectations. My wife and I reacted to the completed project in one simple word. “Wow.” Many thanks to Giancarlo for making this happen much sooner than expected. The work started when promised, the team showed up at the exact time they promised each day. Feeling satisfied with my new cedar tongue and groove ceiling is an understatement.

This is the 3rd time we hired Oakville Windows and Doors for a home improvement project. The previous two jobs (over the past several years) involved replacing all of the doors in our home which continue to impress visitors to this day. This time we had two Bay Windows installed. Having already experienced great advice from Andre and his daughter, Jessica, we knew we would be in good hands once again. The windows were installed within the time frame promised and the crew did an outstanding job. I think what separates this company from the competition is not only very caring owners who take pride in serving customers at the highest level, but an outstanding crew. They work very well as a team from start to finish. They even went the extra mile and installed my blinds on a replacement bay window since the old ones still fit. Andre returned to inspect the work and ensure we were satisfied. I am running out of projects for Andre, but not to worry. We referred him to a family member who also hired Andre to replace his front door, patio door, and 14 windows. We again highly recommend this company without hesitation.

We have been using Sunrise Cleaning Services for 2 years. After beening thoroughly impressed with a one time spring cleaning service we booked them for bi-weekly cleaning. Not one complaint to date. The ladies arrive on time and are very hard working. Kitchen and bathroom sparkle, floors are mopped, and carpets are spotless and so much more. We would not hesitate to recommend them. We most certainly do not miss our former cleaning days.

I purchased Torly's Evertile Premier luxury vinyl tile at Speers Flooring to cover our kitchen, hallway, bathroom, and a small section of an entrance way in a studio. We hired our handyman to install the flooring. The tile is quite impressive, 5/16" x 12" x 24" with a cork backing which eliminates the need for under padding. The Speers rep. was very helpful in choosing a suitable tile. He sent us home with several samples including the Bridgewater which we chose. He advised the flooring could be laid over our existing vinyl sheet tile so no need to rip it up and install new floor boards. We did rip out the old ceramic tile in the bathroom, but only due to height restrictions. We are very satisfied with the results and we cannot say enough about the quality of the Torly's tile. It's almost like walking on a cloud with a warm feeling underfoot. Before shopping at Speers I obtained quotes from professional flooring contractors and although they were knowledgeable with a great line up of flooring choices the costs in comparison were rather outrageous. They refused the job if it meant laying tiles over my existing floor so their quotes were triple over what I paid fir my flooring projects. Speers gave me the confidence to avoid unnecessary labour and materials with their advice and choice of flooring. I saved a bundle. My only concern with Speers is their policy of not taking back unopened tile packages. I ended up making 3 trips to buy additional boxes to avoid being stuck with tiles I didn't need. This is a small point, but that's my feedback.

I hired Paul and crew a year ago to replace a gate fence post. As I stated in my first review I would use this company again and I did. During a very windy day a couple of weeks ago I noticed my fence leaning a little too much. Two fence posts needed to be replaced. I contacted Paul via email and within 24 hours the posts were replaced and debri removed. A potential disaster thus avoided. My fence is about 25 years old so no doubt I will need this service again in future. Thank you Paul for your professionalism and expertise.

Update: June 10 2021. After 20 years of outstanding service including annual maintenance as part of my Home Comfort Protection Plan which I pay for by the month, I must regrettably change my rating from 10 to only 1. I tried to book my annual maintenance for A/C and Furnace and was given a date of September 30th, 4 months after it is due. No explanation other than I am not a priority right now. I later discovered Reliance has locked out their employees since May 18 and are using 3rd party contractors for urgent repairs. I saw a recent news article about how a customer’s repairs were botched. Others say they can’t get appointments for 3 weeks which doesn’t bold well in 30 degree weather with an A/C breakdown. Conflicts with employees happens. I get that, but when you are an essential service you must never put yourself in a situation where your faithful and loyal customers are adversely affected. There is no excuse for this mishandling of your internal affairs, If my equipment breaks down between now and September 30 and my maintenance appointment gets cancelled, I will find someone else to handle the most important equipment in my household. Shame.

Thanks to Google and Homestars we found Frank from Halton Exteriors. Frank diligently explained options for new gutters, leaf guards, and vinyl siding with added insulation. His quote was competitive with others and his approach to analyzing our needs was the most thorough. The installers, Sean and John, were highly skilled, very professional, and very focused. We are pleased with the work and can't stop admiring our home. I recommend Frank without hesitation. Thank you Homestars for helping us choose Halton Exteriors based on feedback from others.

I decided to have a professional install my new washer and dryer and did not hesitate to hire Fast Eddie for the job. I used them for major appliance repair in the past and was satisfied with results and price. The service man arrived within the promised time frame and was friendly and very competent. He brought my dryer vent up to code during the install as well. It took about 45 minutes to hook everything up including testing the equipment. The price was cheaper then the stores installation service. Now if I ever need a warranty claim no one can say I didn't perform the install correctly. I have proof it was done by a licensed service. I recommend Fast Eddie without hesitation.

I looked into this service based on Homestars reviews and a well informed website. I emailed Paul with pictures of the problem fence post and after receiving a reasonable quote only a couple of hours later I booked the service. Chris and Peter arrived at my home well equipped to complete the job which took only about an hour. They explained what needed to be done and did it efficiently. They cleaned up and removed the old cement block holding the old post from the premises. I could not be more satisfied. I will definitely use them again in future as more posts will eventually need attending.

This is the second time we hired Andre to look after our door needs. We were so happy with the quality of workmanship and service for a side door installed a couple of years ago we did not hesitate to use this company again for a front door entrance with sidelight and another side door entrance. We visited the showroom and met with Jessica to look at options. We were pleased with the variety of choices and being able to see the displays really helped us make confident decisions. The projected timeline was met and the installers were courteous and professional. Once again the workmanship was outstanding. A final visit by Andre to ensure our satisfaction was welcomed. We looked at the other reviews on this site and it is no surprise the ratings are very high for this company. We experienced the same results with three door installations and it is a 10 for each door.

Camilo was assigned my problem and arrived exactly when promised. Being respectful of one's budget he outlined different options that might fix the problem and explained them in a way that I could understand. Camilo was very knowledgeable and courteous and left me with a feeling he could be trusted. In the end the problem was far more serious and the drain guys were assigned the task. Camilo came back another day to meet with the drain guys to explain the problem first hand. Wade and Mike, also very friendly and courteous, solved the rather challenging problem. Between Camilo, Wade and Mike, they brought my plumbing up to code with problem solved. For my budget, this was an expensive fix, but I am certain it was totally necessary and fairly priced. This is the 4th time Bosco solved my plumbing issues and always left me satisfied. I have in the past referred them to other family members with positive feedback.

Karl Houston did a great job renovating my bathroom. It was a 10 day project and the bathroom looks like a showroom on a shoe string budget. We are very happy with the results. The next best quote was double the cost of what I paid. Karl has done other handyman work for me and I have always been satisfied.

After years of unwelcome Window and Doors telephone solitications, I was rather sceptical about hiring such a service to replace a door. Should I stick with big box stores or go to an independent. Well, I must say reading the reviews on Homestar helped me find a top notch company, Oakville Windows and Doors. From my first meeting with Andre to the day of installation, it was nothing more than a postive experience from start to finish. The quality advice. quality door, and expert installation made me feel I received great value for my money. Andre returns to the house after the work is completed to inspect the job and check for satisfaction without being asked. I truly believe this company will stand behind its work. Recommend them without hesitation.
